Ive been working my ass off trying to get interest here up with the Micro Markdown, Hall of Fame, heaps of shows, etc. and yet most people are simply logging in and logging out, with no replies at all.
Its pissing me off and making me not want to make shows, or put in any effort to help this place, because apparantly im the only one willing to put in said effort, and im the only one who cares.. I know thats not true, because there are people joining the shows. But those involved, cant you start discussions and make the shows actually matter? NOBODY CARES if theres just two micros posted every now and then with no replies.
So basically, can people post once or twice, put in that TWO MINUTES of effort to help the site? If it keeps up, im not doing any more shows or anything like that.

Prime example, the man who just logged on, and logged on earlier without posting. Attitude Adjusted. Logs on all the time, but hasnt posted in OVER A MONTH. Very annoying to see that.
EDIT: And he logs off again without posting.

Sorry, I'll admit to commiting this "crime", as such. Just log in every now and then so see whats post worthy, I'll try my best after this week coming up, since these are my exams. Then after that I will be posting much more frequently.
Apologies, Cane.

I try to get on and post as much as possible, my computer access is very random, sometimes i have it for a day, sometimes for half and hour. A lot of the times i do log in, nothings been posted since i last got on, and there isnt anything to really talk about. But things like the new markdown, hall of fame, etc, fun things like that definately help.
After joining the last couple shows, the lack of interest in voting made me think whether or not it was even worth joining. I do appreciate the 3-4 people who consistantly post and vote, but for everyone else it seems like you have to twist there arms just to get em to vote. Its beyond frustrating, and its gotta be worse Cane considering he organizes it all.
And yea, the logging in and out without posting is annoying, seems like most our regular posters have become regular lurkers After the last show i realized there are very few people here actually willing to help out the site. I will always comment on those people's micros, and vote on their matches. The others, probably not so much.

Usually I'm pretty good with posting, lately a lot has been going in my life...I pop in and I'll post on the VG board but that's all...but it gets annoying when I post something....and a day later there's no reply. -shrug-

You guys arent the ones im talking to, mostly. KOK, I know what you mean, but it seems everyones seeing that so they decide to not post either, which just makes it less active.

I admit, i've become quite a lurker on here. I wanna reply to micros and whatnot, but i'd rather have a detailed response to a micro rather than a 'Looks good man, nice micro' or something of that sort, basically the same reply from everyone. And I honestly haven't had much time to reply, let alone make a micro to post on here to help with activity. Which is why i pretty much only make them for shows now. I'll try to start voting on shows more and stuff, because I know it must be annoying trying to spark activity by yourself. It's just lack of interest imo. Micros do get boring after a while, and it's easy to get burnt out. If we could just get a few more people on here, even if they're beginners it'd be helping out some, activity-wise.

It seems everyone is in agreeance that activity and interest is down, and that we need more replies and new microers, but honestly, why would people join now? We need to give people incentive to join, whether its by games, awesome micros or simply good replies.
I know replies like "Good micro, man, nice head" arent great, but they are better than nothing.

Maybe in a week or so.

Sorry man, I'm guilty of this too. Sometimes I log on and see that there are either new posts in a thread I don't much care for, or there isn't anything new at all. I try to make up for not posting consistently by signing up for all the shows. But I'm also trying to do the same that you are with MWE, and as some of you know, is also in pretty bad shape right now. But I'll try to fix that, dog.

I haven't been on in a while. Right now, I'm not in the mood for making micros which I told Cane after the huge letdown of people for getting there micros in for MS: The Reckoning World Tour. Since then I'v pretty much done nothing, that includes modding which I usually do every day. I'll try and log on more and post some replys when I have the chance, not making any micros at this time as I pretty much dislike everything I try and make for a new template.

I understand people not making micros 100%. I feel like that sometimes. I just dont see a reason as to why a lot of people feel the need to log in every day to check new micros, yet they NEVER leave a reply.

I feel like the Throwback Initiative just turned this around a bit, wouldn't you say?
