I'm really lost on who I want to win this year. I'd like to see a Christian return and win and then go on to face Edge in a face vs face match at WrestleMania for the world title. Actually, here's an idea I'd love to see happen with a Edge vs Christian feud. It's kind of a long read but something I like.
Christian returns at the rumble and wins it and says he will be facing his old buddy Edge at WrestleMania. The two agree that it will be a friendly encounter and no matter the outcome, the fans win in the end. So we get hilarious promos and all that classic E&C stuff leading into Mania where Edge retains after a great match. Both guys hug following the match. On the following smackdown it's Edge and Christian together again in a tag team match against Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater. The two beat Gabriel and Slater and celebrate and then Teddy Long comes out and says they both had a great match at WrestleMania which is why he is making a WrestleMania rematch at Extreme Rules, Edge vs Christian in a Ladder Match.
Extreme Rules rolls around and we see another match that will be a friendly, but brutal match. The conclusion of the match comes when both guys have a hand on the belt as it comes unhooked and both fall to the floor at the same time. Confusion sets in and then the referee announces that both men had a hold of the belt and touch the ground at the same time so there for he is calling it a draw. Smackdown then starts with Teddy Long saying he has a decision about the confusing the end to the ladder match where both men seemingly won. He says that the decision he has made is that the main event of smackdown will be for the World Championship with Edge taking on Christian. The main event comes and both men have another great match that sees Edge miss a spear and hit the turnbuckle and Christian quickly takes advantage with a Killswitch to win the World Title in a huge celebration with confetti and what not. Edge looks on a little bit upset but ultimately hugs and congratulates Christian to end smackdown. On the next few episodes of smackdown Edge and Christian tag team together while building up the Over The Limit pay per view. Teddy Long announces that the World Title will be on the line in a tag team match where who ever gets the deciding fall will be the World Champion, it will be Edge and Christian against Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio for Christian's World Title. The match comes with the build up that states Christian may not be able to trust Edge since the World Title is on the line in the match.
Over The Limit comes and half way through the match Edge accidentally spears Christian and Alberto Del Rio almost wins the title. Christian and Edge have words and then Edge spears Ziggler as he comes in the ring and then Christian quickly pins him as Edge is pulled out of the ring by Del Rio, Christian gets the deciding fall and retains. Edge and Christian look a little angered at each other but the two leave together. Following this Teddy Long announces that at Fatal 4 Way Edge, Christian, Dolph Ziggler, and Alberto Del Rio will face off in a four way match for the World Title.
Fatal 4 Way comes in and Edge and Christian aren't looking to be the best of friends but work together some in the match until Edge spears Ziggler and Christian grabs Edge with a quick roll up to retain the title. Edge and Christian have words with each other and Edge storms off from the ring. Smackdown opens with Christian saying he has been getting flack for cheaply rolling Edge up but he knows Edge would have done the same thing. Teddy Long comes out and announces Christian will defend the World Title at Money In The Bank against Alberto Del Rio. Edge comes out at says it should be him in the World Title match at Money In The Bank. Teddy Long says Edge will be in the Money in the Bank match at the pay per view.
Money in the Bank rolls around and Edge comes up short in the money in the bank match, Dolph Ziggler ends up winning. Edge tells Christian to watch his back in the World Title match on the chance that Ziggler may cash in. Edge tells Christian he will be out there if he needs him. The world title match comes up and Christian escapes with the World Title and then Ziggler's music hits. Ziggler comes out with Vickie Guerrero and Vickie says he is cashing in his money in the bank right now. The match starts and Christian is looking to almost have Ziggler put away until Vickie gets in the ring and gets in Christian's face. Edge comes running down and grabs Vickie's feet and pulls her out of the ring as she screams and runs away from him. Ziggler and Christian battle back and forth and Vickie keeps distracting the referee and Edge has had enough he goes at Vickie but she gets in the ring, so Edge follows. Vickie shoves the referee down as Edge grabs her but she breaks free and quickly gets out of the ring as Edge turns and blasts Christian with a spear. Edge leaves the ring quickly as Ziggler pins Christian to win the World Title. Edge leaves with Vickie and Dolph.
On the following smackdown Edge explains that this is a business and he has to make business decisions sometimes. He says Vickie and Dolph offered him a lot of money and the promise of Dolph's first World Title defense, so the decision was easy. Teddy Long says he decides who gets World Title matches around smackdown, not the champion or his girl friend. Teddy says however he will allow Edge to face Dolph for the World Title at SummerSlam, in a triple threat match also including Christian!
SummerSlam rolls around and Dolph ends up retaining the title after Christian lays Edge out with a chair and Dolph nails Christian with the Zig Zag. Edge and Christian have fights all over the backstage area in the next few episodes of smackdown which leads to Teddy Long announcing Edge vs Christian in a Street Fight at Hell in a Cell.
Hell in a Cell takes place and the street fight is very brutal. The fight goes all over the place and eventually sees Christian get the win after a Killswitch on a chair and then a one man con-chair-to. Christian celebrates and the feud ends. Christian goes on to remain in the World Title picture while Edge jumps to Raw.

The ppv is this weekend these are still the only matches announced.....lol I suspect a pointless divas match will take place along with a pointless tag team match to fill the card. Hopefully a US Title or IC Title match too.

I dont want Del Rio to win at all. Its too soon. Maybe next year, if they keep the push up, but now is too early.

I think it is too soon for him too, but he seems to be doing very well with this push. I'd say mid-late 2011 is when Del Rio should get his push, but he is on fire lately.
Also, I'm really hoping for darkness/gong/lightning bolt sometime during the Rumble.
