It doesnt fit Triple H's gimmick? Its just a person walking in a trenchcoat through rain. It could be anyone, doesnt need to fit a gimmick. And actually, hype videos are made ALL THE TIME for new people, such as Mordecai, Alberto Del Rio, Carlito, etc. when they debuted. It could very well be a new person.

According to sources within World Wrestling Entertainment, organization officials' top priority heading into 2011 was signing multi-time champion Steve Borden (a/k/a Sting) to a contract.
Borden has not agreed to a new deal contract with TNA Wrestling. Internally, the majority feeling within the Nashville based organization is that he is bound for World Wrestling Entertainment.
As noted earlier, the New York Daily news reported today that Sting had signed a one-year deal with WWE. That is NOT confirmed though.

Im still not getting my hopes up, in case it isnt. Mostly, thats just dirtsheet bullshit. Its very possible it is Sting, but I dont want to say it is, only to be disappointed when its The Boogeyman or some shit.

lol Boogeyman would make me commit suicide. There's a lot of speculation on Sting though. He apparently didn't re sign with TNA and TNA wanted him for the "THEY" storyline which turned out to be a huge cluster fuck because they lost out on Nash and Booker.

Well, it obviously has some sort of gimmick, it's a dude (presumably), wearing all black, a trench coat, walking in the rain, in the dark, walking really slowly, with spooky music playing and the test slowly falling down the screen. With a promo video like that, I can't help but think it MUST be something linked to a gimmick, it all seems a bit creepy. And about the promo videos, they generally don't happen too often, not like this with some sort of unrevealed character, which has nothing to do with a character, and a date. The last time something like this happened that I can remember was Jericho in 07 (although I stopped watching wrestling early-mid 09, and have only watched sporadically since. ). Maybe I'm wrong, (and I hope I am, I'd like someone who I actually care about, lol) but it seems they are trying to start something big with these videos.

and Kane and Undertakers child hood home? Since when are Undertaker and Kane from the old west? but then again, neither is Sting lol Hell idk what this means lmao Well, they had an old fashioned funeral parlour which you would know if you've watched pretty much everything from 1991-1997 on Undertaker. And it was presumably set in rural conditions based on promos and whatnot. But I'm going to have to say Sting now, just for the fact I'd love it to be him and it fits him to a T as has been stated.

Youre saying you have no interest in seeing Sting/Undertaker, Sting/HHH, Sting/Orton?

Well, I have no interest in Sting. I never watched WCW as a kid and TNA has never appealed to me, so I guess I've never really seen too much of him. I'll definitely start watching Raw again soon, though (probably on the 21st) and I'll see if he can impress me

Well, me too, to an extent. I havent seen heaps of Sting, but I know he is very charismatic and was one of the best wrestlers ever. He can still go, much like Undertaker can. Him vs. Undertaker at WM would sell the show to me.

No need to be a dickhead Diablo. Granted Undertaker was originally based on an old west mortician, I don't think they would go back to that after all this time. And if Undertaker and Kane were born in the 1800's or 1900's, that would make them old as fuck, which would make their father Paul Bearer older than fuck.

Yeah, there's no doubt that he's got a great reputation, and I guess he must have some talent to have been a top star in 2 different global promotions, but I'm still gonna reserve judgement until I see some of him. There is also a chance that it could be someone like Kong, who currently has a deal with WWE, but I doubt WWE will take the womens division seriously any time soon.

Sorry, wasn't trying to be a dick there, it's more the fact I've seen a shitload of Taker stuff. But it's not an old west house per se, just an older house somewhere in the South by the looks of it. Plus, the Old West wouldn't have trees and rain for this, it would have tumbleweeds and desert like Undertaker's 2007 and 2008 return promos.

I'm gonna say listen to Cane, don't get your hopes up only to get disappointed when it's someone lame like Shannon Moore or something.
