A team effort you say? That'd actually be a great idea. I'll get the details posted here sometime today. Thanks guys, really appreciate your help.

Ok, let's try it this way to start with. Here are the three starters and some information on them. The concept is they're based on animals that are common first pets. 1.) OrkittyGRASS TYPE [Orchid Pokemon]"It produces and distributes very small seeds, planting beautiful orchids along river banks."I want this one to be the "cute" starter. With it being associated with orchids, maybe some flowering on it's head/body/tail, these possibly being blue. If this doesn't suit, feel free to change it up until something works. The base colour should be either brown or a light grey, with green in there somewhere. It should be small, around the same size as Shinx.
4.) PyropupFIRE TYPE [Puppy Pokemon]"It's playful manner is often a hinderance on achieving control of its fire-type abilities. Pyropup's are notoriously tough to train."Needs to have a "dopey" look to it. You know, typical dog with it's tongue sticking out the side of it's mouth, wide-eyed and looking like it's ready to go nuts. Possible use of fire as fur along its back or for its tail? It should be red, yellow and orange in colour. Again, the same size as Orkitty.
7.) BunbubbleWATER TYPE [Bubble Pokemon]"It hides in water when afraid, using its bubble tail as a floatation device."I imagine it looking incredibly nervous. As said, it's tail should be a bubble (blue or perhaps grey in colour, whichever looks best). Other base colours for it's fur should be either brown or light grey, with some blue incorporated somewhere. I don't want it's teeth to be a prominent feature. In fact, I don't want them to have any (look up Buneary). Around the same size as Oshawatt. If anyone wants to have a go at these, go ahead. It'd be much appreciated. Can't wait to see some of your ideas!

Welcome back Chaz! This concept sounds great. Maybe this weekend I'll have a go at one, if everyone else doesn't make great ones before me.

I made Bunbubble. Not sure if you'll like it, but its honestly as good as I can do haha. And a comparison to Oshawatt.

A tip for making them (though Im not great myself) is to do a few quick sketch ideas of them first in different poses/etc.

I'd have to agree with both posts. Still, like I said, I enjoy seeing different perspectives.

You got the style down, and I quite like the design, man but I dont think you can see the face enough. Also, most pokemon have slightly bigger cartoony heads, I think its a bit too realistic. I'd like to see you make more of them.
Chaz, ill also try to make some of my own designs up and post them, hopefully they fit with some of your ideas.
