i wanna be a rookie This competition is aimed at people who accept advice and use it to better themselves in micros. Sorry, i'll make a "see how many mediocre micros we can make in x amount of time without showing any signs of acceptance or improvement" when MXT is finished.

Probably right after MicroMania right?

Following on from Diablo's football analogy, Zidane is Cane and the keeper is SPZ:

So I was thinking today, and i'm just throwing this out there as a possible competition in place of MXT season 2. The Ultimate Microer, based on UFC's The Ultimate Fighter. Two coaches, ie. Hurricane and CMC lead a team of 4-5 members (not necessarily rookies, could be like Haasamaniac, King of Kings, Masson, Jake_666 and Ermolli).
Each show has a group challenge (ie. make a micro frankenstein with your team), and the team that wins the challenge gets to work together to choose what the match for that week will be. For example, I choose Masson, from my team, to face Diablo from CMC's team. The winner of the match will go through and be safe for the next show, whereas the loser will be eliminated. This can go on until there is a winner who will be dubbed "The Ultimate Microer" and be given a title shot of their choice at Microslam. The two pros can also face off in an Ultimate Grudge Match at the same PPV.
I think it could be a better boost for activity, possibly with guest "coaches" for each team each week, who could not only help their given team out, but also participate in the challenge for the week to help them win. Plus it would be a huge lead in building up matches for Microslam, our next big PPV.
Thoughts, suggestions, etc? Which do you prefer?

I like that idea, but its a matter of having enough people to join.

Sounds like a really good idea, but I think it should be more like Survivor in which everyone is an equal. So, keep your idea, but ditch having a team leader. But that is just my opinion.

But the premise is to still help people improve, which is why theres the coach/leader. I want a show to help rookies like Haasamaniac to improve, as well as semi-pros like Jake_666 as well. I think it would work better having the guest pros as well because they won't just be recieving ONE persons advice the whole show.

Ultimate Microer sounds fun and being a fan of UFC, I dig it. Ahaha.

Yeah, it's a terrific idea, and we can implement the ideas from what we were going to do with MXT into this, I suppose.

Yeah, sounds like a decent idea. Not sure which I prefer, though, because if you have one 'mentor' for each team, their style will be started to be used a lot over the team, and could start looking a little generic. Just imo.
