**SPOILERS
Wasn't fully on-board with killing Randall at first but now that they've tortured him they really have no other choice, why WOULDN'T he try to escape back to his group at this point.
And i understand kids will be kids but Carl is just a straight-up dumb fuck. Its only been a couple weeks since the Sofia thing and he's running off in the woods looking for trouble. And look what that lead too. Dale was one of my favourites, it really sucked to see him go, and in such a brutal way.

**Spoilers
Best episode so far imo. The suspense of the last half hour was amazing and the "final showdown" was really well done. Was not expecting Rick to pull the knife. The final shot of Rick and Carl with the zombie herd coming out of the woods was intense, can't wait for next week

I predict next week will be full on chaos. Quick question though because I missed the show the week they caught Randall but when did they explain that people become zombies without being bitten?

Got this from someone on WF. Thought it was pretty funny... The multi-dimensional charisma of T-Dog in photographs: Spiteful Perturbed Happy Defensive

Quick question though because I missed the show the week they caught Randall but when did they explain that people become zombies without being bitten? *I guess this can be considered spoilers but this week's episode (and other clues in past episodes) pretty much gives it away* You don't have to be bitten to turn. Though they never fully explain it in the comics, its assumed an airborne virus broke out and infected everybody. So yeah, everybody is already infected, and when they die regardless of how, the body re-animates due to the virus. Zombie bites just carry bacteria or whatever that cause a fever which kills you. I assume this is what Jenner told Rick at the CDC

I never read the comics so I'm used the Resident Evil way of being a zombie where you have to be bitten by a zombie to become a zombie(of course unless you have a shit load of green, red, and blue herbs or a can of first aid spray).

Up until now we're pretty much meant to believe its the bites (or even scratches) only that turn people. I find this way more interesting though, the walking dead actually refers to the survivors rather than the zombies

I find this way more interesting though, the walking dead actually refers to the survivors rather than the zombies that's actually cool I hadn't thought about that, in the episode where they took Randall to the school to release him they had some bit about scratches being able to infect you so I figured Shane had gotten infected from a scratch and then passed it onto Randall in a scratch rather than a bite then the virus would fully take effect when you die. Your explanation sounds better though and answers what Jenner said to Rick.

So next week should be chaos, right? I wouldn't be surprised to see some characters killed off in the finale.

The farm is definitely getting overrun judging by the previews, about time imo, they've just been too safe there up to this point.
I'm also very tempted to go back and update the old walking dead micros i did

I wouldn't be surprised to see 1-2, possibly 3 people killed off in the finale
