I just got back from an amazing concert. Not only was Evans Blue amazing, but the other two acts were as well. Almost Kings and The Vail. I bought both cds from both bands that they had.
Dan Chandler told everyone to stay after the concert, which I did. I met all of the members of Evans Blue. They were all very friendly, especially Dan Chandler and Joe Pitter. Joe talked to me and my buddy for a good 10-15 minutes after signing our posters. The rest of the band mates signed our posters and then the final signature came from Dan Chandler. Dan was very, very cool and humble. He was very appreciative of me and my buddy driving two hours just to see them live. We talked to him for about 15 minutes. Awesome guy. He informed us that their new album should be out in December and if you liked their last album, then you will love the new one. They sang 2 songs off of it and I thought they were great. I can't remember the exact setlist order but they sang Erase My Scars, Bulletproof, Say It, Two Steps Back, Sick of It, Through Your Eyes, Who We Are, A Cross And A Girl Named Blessed, the two new songs that I can't recall, and I;m sure they did one or two more songs.
As we were leaving and walking back to our car we ran into Almost Kings outside of their tour bus. They were chilling and asked us how the show was. We praised them for being awesome to which they thanked us and said they can't wait to come back around here because everyone was so friendly.
I attached a picture of me and Dan Chandler. My other pics as well as videos are on facebook, for those of you that have me on there.
