I was here long time ago but bailed out as it was not my kind of site but i have been hearing from allot of other faces that this place is not as bad as i took it for, well i am back and gonna take another swing at things with hopes this swing gets some results otherwise its one more strike till I'm gone. I'm not a pro like the mass majority of people here, but i do my damnedest and have fun doing it.

Can I ask why you didnt like it? We arent as strict as MIB, so if you're after very tightly run, serious art, this probably isn't the place. We're pretty laid back and lenient, and like to have some fun.

Yeah, I have noticed many guys from MIB dislike criticisms, but your work looks really good Judas, so welcome aboard!

If you dont like constructive crit, I wouldn't recommend posting really either, we aren't yes men. You seem pretty good overall though, but we will always have suggestions to improve, much like we'd love you to give ours crit to help us get better.

im no were near the skill of people on this board, i still use lots of temps & frank alot of my work. there have only ever been a few items i have made myself but i always modify my work so its never a direct rip of the part i used. As for my reasons of not liking it here the first run was as DSB said the CC played a major part, but also trying to fit it.

What is "franking" work?Oh, if you mean Frankensteining, I'm afraid that's kind of against the "unwritten rules" of this forum. If you want to take/use someone else's work, you had better ask their permission first, and if they decline, then you ought to respect their wishes. Just a tip.

taking parts from different micros and attaching them to yours, it's called 'Frankensteining'.

i know about that *Unwritten law* but without those parts that i do modify to suit the micro then i really am sitting on the curb. i am not very good at crafting something from nothing specially if i don't know what i want the final piece to look like. so if you look down upon that then so be it. i shoot to please the person i make the micro for. there opinion is what matters to me in the end. but whatever. and thanks for the welcome dave.

I'm sure many won't mind frankensteining as long as you do ask and give credit here. CC isn't bad, it's not like we are insulting you. We want to help you improve, maybe you can even make "something out of nothing" with some help?

Very true and i would love to learn to make something from nothing but i am not that good an artist. _-_ i don't really have any "Mentors" that i can get assistance from. There have been many people i have gone to for assistance and help from but i haven't really progressed to the next stage. i will admit that my shading n work in general has progressed into something better then what it was at the start but i am still way behind everyone else. as the world progresses around me i am still in the same place.
