Coat shading is quite pillowy especially the part between the legs, got no complaints about the shaping in general its quite good.

Only real suggestions are to add anti-aliasing to the cheeks on his face, where the skin touches the helmet bits. Will help blend it. Also, on the outer parts of the jacket, your shading has followed the outline exactly, if that makes sense. Don't do that, as it makes it quite blocky. Apart from that, I quite like it. Solid work.

ok thank you both, how do i do the anti-aliasing on the cheeks? ive never done that but i have wanted to. and i know what your saying for the jacket, so to avoid making it blocky and pillow shaded what would be the best way to approach that? my shading skills are very much that of a beginner

Like so: Left - blocky, right - normal. I figure its usually more helpful to show, rather than tell. Does that help at all? On the bottom one, basically what I'm showing is not to follow the outlines exactly with each new shade, but do them more like the right version to let it flow more. Hopefully it helps.
