So I open Paint on my new laptop (Windows 7) to make a start on a new micro, only to see they've changed it for the worse. Everything is anti aliased immediately and I can't even do 1 pixel clicks at a time 'cos nothing happens. You have to drag the mouse, creating a short line. I just want 1 fucking solid pixel.
HELP ME.
*EDIT*
Never mind. Found the pencil tool which lets me do that. This Paint is still a dirty whore compared to it's older sister though.

Tried it, but it won't open. Says it's incompatible and I should check my system to see whether I run a 32 bit or 64 bit system, then contact microsoft for something.

www.askvg.com/how-to-get-the-good-old-ms-paint-without-ribbons-working-in-windows-7/follow this TO THE T it WILL work; it's how I got mine to. I mean it, read the whole damn page. All of it. It gives you links to follow to get the old paint file, as well as how to take ownership and so-on. Follow it EXACTLY. You do *not* need Vista installed for it to work, just the 'vista' paint.exe which they provide a download link for at the bottom.

I really don't see how people find it hard to use. I like it better than XP Paint.
