Put it this way, Leave A Whisper is my favourite album of all time by ANY artist. If the rest of Amaryllis is anything like what I heard tonight, it's going to blow it out of the water. The new songs played were all faster paced, like Devour is.
The first time I had heard Halestorm's name was when SPZ mentioned them in the "currently listening to" thread. I guess it is a good way to be introduced to a band because I'm rarely disappointed with a live set by anybody.
Liberty Lies are quite like Shinedown with a hint of Iron Maiden, which is understandable considering they're British.

Halestorm is awesome. I saw them last year at Edgefest and Lzzy did vocals with Seether for Broken and it was amazing. I'm still waiting on the damn radio station to announce the Edgefest 8 line up and getting impatient because I'm hoping to see Killswitch Engage and All That Remains on the line up.

I was going to go see Shinedown on the 8th, on the same tour, but only one of my friends wanted to see them over Alestorm who were playing the same day. So I saw Alestorm instead, who are great. For those who don't know who they are, they're a Scottish Pirate Metal band.
Next gig I'm off to is Black Stone Cherry at the end of March, but probably some local bands in between now and then. After that, the Download Festival!

So I just came. I mostly listen to rock/metal and occasionally some rap, but anyways my favorite rapper is coming to the same place I saw Evans Blue. I know hardly anyone hear listens to rap but this just made my night that he will be there on March 30th. I gotta go

My theory is, music is like candy. You throw away the rappers.

Hopefully I can stick around afterwards and meet him like I did with Evans Blue. That would totally make my year because I'm just as big of a Tech N9ne fan as I am an Evans Blue fan

I wouldn't count on it. Rap has a way more intense fanbase, and most smaller/medium rock bands hang around to meet people. You might get lucky, but I'd wager he'll play and get the hell out of there.

I'm not sure, he's one of those rappers that loves meeting his fans so I'm hoping for the best

How big is he? Like, obviously hes known a fair bit, but would you consider him a smaller act? I'm assuming since he's playing there, he is. He also played at the place where I live, where I just saw Seether. Smaller artists tend to hang around and meet people.

He's well known but more of an underground legend. He doesn't make the radio hits but still makes damn good music.
