Still haven't got a ticket for Edgefest this year. It's looking less likely every day that I'm gonna get to go. Everyone I was supposed to go with bailed and now I don't have anywhere to stay since it's 2 hours away and I won't feel like driving back home after being out there for 12 hours for the entire event.
I'm still holding on to hope that Killswitch Engage will make their way close to me in 2013.

Went to Warped Tour on the 31st. Easily the best fucking day of my life. Met blessthefall's lead singer Beau Bokan (my favorite singer), got in the mosh pit for Motionless in White and a few other bands. I saw a few bands that I hadn't heard of before, but instantly became a fan. My favorite 3 performances were Motionless in White, (Second time i've seen them live and they always put on an awesome, awesome performance) blessthefall, and Lostprophets. Only things that really bummed me out were barely being able to hear Kellin Quinn and not getting to see Miss May I. They were one of the last bands to play, and by the time they went on I was too exhausted to stand any longer and had a sunburn from hell. Plus, they went on at another stage right after Machine Gun Kelly, who played on the opposite side of the place. And the stage MMI was at was packed when I was there to listen to Of Mice & Men which was only like 2 bands before them. But I had an incredible time, and I for sure plan on going again next year if the lineup is as good as it was this year.

Went to see a Dragonforce, with the Defiled and Alestorm in support. Epic gig and stayed behind afterwards and got a picture with Herman Li and Marc Hudson, and some autographs. Also got one of the picks they threw out halfway though the gig. It was funny because I wasn't even going to go until about 15 minutes before doors, ended up being awesome. My favourite pic, I'm in the leather jacket, guy to the left of me is Herman Li. Also off to see Slash and Miles Kennedy on Friday, with Tremonti in support.

I also went to see Slash and Miles Kennedy tour in London a couple weeks ago, my god it was epic. Sang to every damn song (first time I've been able to do that at a gig since I saw Rise Against last year). One of my favourite parts was when the support, none other than Mark Tremonti, got on stage with Kennedy and Slash and they did Rise Today together. There were GnR covers, Velvet Revolver covers and his original stuff. Two encores, which I've never seen before and the crowd were insane. Easily my favourite gig I've been to, it was a shame that none of my pictures of Slash came out well because of the lighting but I got a couple better ones for the Tremonti Band (we were closer for him).

Probably gonna go to this show, even if I have to go alone. They have tickets to meet Shinedown for $140. Thinking about buying one of those haha you get 1 Premium Reserved Seat or General Admission Ticket, 1 Meet & Greet w/Shinedown, 1 Shinedown Metal Bottle Opener, 1 Shinedown Bandana, 1 Shinedown Pin Pack, 1 Shinedown Commemorative Laminate, and 1 Shinedown Sticker. They're one of my all time favorite bands, so why the hell not?

P.O.D. is a weird choice as opener nowadays. They have changed a lot and don't really suit the other two. New Medicine, Sick Puppies or Adelitas Way would have worked better. Would be an awesome show to attend though.

Yeah I'm not much into POD anymore. Haven't heard anything from them since I was in high school. I'm pumped now though because I know I can afford the ticket to meet them, I just gotta get back to work and start making that money haha

Went and saw Jimmy Barnes recently. Only Diablo and NGW would know who he is. Also saw Juke Kartel and Boom Crash Opera (big Aussie band from the early 90's) last night. Got Linkin Park and Stone Sour on Feb 27th can't wait.
