Some good matches, we ha technical problems so we missed the first 45mins ish (fucking sky) but after hearing the result of the match I was most looking forward too, the WHC, I am pissed. Still, CM Punk- Jericho was great, loved the Walls of Jericho from the Hurricanrana reversal. Taker v HHH was good, I just felt it was way too long but had some decent spots (spinebuster to steps looks gruesome). Cena Rock was great, I thought the ending was good, I am seeing the Cena heel turn soon.
Other than the WHC matches, the thing that disappointed the most was the entrances. The lack of ceiling takes the oomf away from the pyro and the lack of coloured lighting made it look kinda meh, but the jackets were awesome.
I missed the Kane v Orton match and Show v Rhodes match, is it worthwhile that I go watch them now? I heard there were boring chants throughout Kane v Orton...

The fact that there were no stand out entrances irritated me, and now I wish they didn't have seating behind the stage otherwise we could have had some stage pyro, which there was very little of. In fact, pyro wise, this Mania was crap, especially the lack of intro pyro.
Kane/Orton was solid, IMO, with an awesome spot to end it.

Yeah. Also, I remember cole saying it's only the 3rd time Mania has been outside. I thought it was 4? 9, 24, 27,28?

Yeah. Also, I remember cole saying it's only the 3rd time Mania has been outside. I thought it was 4? 9, 24, 27,28? 26 was the fourth one, but I don't count that because the stadium was mostly indoors, with only an open segment of the roof. 28 was the third truely outdoor WrestleMania. Who gives a crap about pyros. It's a wrestling show. Some of us actually enjoy fireworks, as well as epic fireworks during entrances...

Who gives a crap about pyros. It's a wrestling show. It adds to the atmosphere. Think what it would be like if Kane came down to the ring handing out flowers to the theme of some Justin Beiber song.

The only pyro I was bothered about was HBK's. I thought it was gonna be around where the large Wrestlemania text was. But what we got was mainly the sound from it and a bit of smoke from a useless pyro outside the stadium.
Most of the mark out moments for me came from the numerous near falls in the matches. Just when think "that should be it right there" they kick out.
My first thought when Bryan lost was "I bet WF's raging right now."

It adds to the atmosphere. Think what it would be like if Kane came down to the ring handing out flowers to the theme of some Justin Beiber song. What does that have to do with pyro? Because pyro sets the atmosphere. Undertaker's entrance wouldn't be the same without it. Kane's entrance wouldn't be the same without it. And it really adds to the entrances of other guys. I know you guys don't give a fuck about entrances, you're in it for the wrestling but the reason I watch WWE and I don't watch most of the Indies is because of the high production value, and that includes the epic entrances. Plus, WrestleMania doesn't feel the same without the pyro opening...

Also, Taker's jacket was the most badass thing I have ever seen.

I agree, there has never, ever been a more badass entrance attire than what Undertaker wore. That was just fucking... you knew shit was going down. I lol'd at everyone being all like HOLYFUCK when Taker revealed his bald/mohawk thing.

I thought he looked badass with the mohawk and the spiked jacket and the match far exceeded my expectations. I was worried because I thought their match last year was okay but damn, this year blew my mind. Everything was off the charts and it topped my list of favorite HIAC matches, beating out Brock vs Taker.
I would rank the matches in this order
1. Undertaker vs Triple H 2. CM Punk vs Chris Jericho 3. The Rock vs John Cena 4. Kane vs Randy Orton 5. Big Show vs Cody Rhodes 6. Team Johnny vs Team Teddy 7. Epico/Primo vs Kidd/Gabriel vs Usos 8. Divas Tag Match 9. Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan
They should have cut out all the live performances, the Brodus Clay segment, and the Heath Slater/Flo Rida segment and let Bryan/Sheamus go at least 15 minutes and put the tag match on the card and given them the 10 minutes they had on the pre show. Brodus should have had a squash match on the pre show, imo.

Loved WM. Taker vs HHH was insane. I just don't something though. MGK wouldn't have gone out there and said the ego comment off his own back. So WWE obviously told him to say it. I don't see WWE's logic of making the guy who sang the theme for the whole show, say something that was clearly going to get him booed out of the arena.
