Whos seen it? Watched it the other night. Thought it was absolutely incredible. The scene with Alfred at Wayne's grave had me pretty emotional. Fantastic ending though.

I've seen it, but I don't think we should start a spoiler thread for at least another few days. Out of fairness, I've only just seen it and I know others are going to see it in the next couple of days or so.
Still, fucking amazing movie.

Why not start a spoiler thread? I mean its clearly marked spoilers so if they haven't seen it and enter this thread, its their fault.
I thought it was amazing. Best of the trilogy, imo. Everyone played their roles perfectly and I'm glad to see Bane getting more praise than he was before the movie. I knew Tom Hardy was gonna own the role. The ending was just amazing, I sat there and kinda smiled when John Blake entered the batcave and then the platform started raising. Hopefully its a sign of a next trilogy. Nightwing? Robin?

It says spoilers in the title. People have the right not to enter it if they wish. It's fine. Loved Bane a lot more than I thought I would. I thought they'd really struggle on this one villain wise purely because of how good the Joker was, but Hardy did brilliantly. The football pitch explosion scene was very very well done.

I really enjoyed it, but still feel The Dark Knight was much better overall. The pacing of this one was kind of all over the place, and some of the editing was really confusing. My main issue being the ending. I believe the auto-pilot was fixed on his Bat-plane and he survived but to show him in the cockpit 5 seconds before the explosion is just gonna confuse the hell out of people.
I thought Bane was great though, loved the first fight scene with Batman, and was surprised to see the iconic Bane military-press back breaker. He was a little hard to understand sometimes and the voice took some getting use to but overall it worked. I also liked Anne Hathaway as Catwoman a lot more than I thought I would.

The problem with only having it in the title is annoying for people like me and dean who view the forum from the '10 most recent posts' link at the bottom of the site, which shows the most recent posts, not just the topic title.
But anyway. I saw it Friday night, it was EPIC. I loved it, which I found strange because I didn't like the first 2 as much as everyone else. I thought Bane was done amazingly, I loved his voice. It does seems as though they should've made it into two films, as it seemed very rushed in parts, despite being 3 hours-ish.

Yeah, as Masson said, I was more concerned about the recent posts function.
Regardless:
- Bane was epic, I really sympathised with him towards the end, because logically he did nothing wrong. The voice got hard to understand at times, but at the same time it was oddly soothing.
- Catwoman... hnng, Anne Hathaway did a great job. From the mannerisms to the tone of voice to well, dat ass. Well played.
- My broski and myself got pretty pumped for the Liam Neeson cameo.
- I still can't comprehend why Batman took the blame for everything when it was The Joker who was doing all of this stuff...?
- The ending was perfectly done, with Cats and Bats getting together (I'm pretty sure that's a first, assuming that's a permanent thing...) and the Robin plot twist. Slighty loose ends, but not too loose. If Nolan walked away now, he is arguably the greatest Batman director of all time.
I'm going to give it 10/10 and I regret nothing. That topped Avengers, IMO.

I loved the Bane voice. Apprently Hardy based it on an old bare knuckle fighter. The guy was a gypsie and apparently spoke very similar.
Agreed that the Ra's al Ghul bit was incredible. I'm a sucker for some Neeson.
I never thought he took the blame to cover the Joker's ass. More so to protect the city from really knowing what Harvey Dent turned into.
Also nothing to do with the movie, but I was shocked to find out that Tom Hardy is only 5 foot 10. I've always assumed the guy was just a fucking giant.

He took the blame for the people Two-Face murderred, and for the murder of Dent himself. Before becoming Two-Face, Dent was a public hero. Preserving this image led to the Dent Act during the 8 years between the last two movies which resulted in 1000+ criminals being locked up and stamped out organized crime. Like they said early in the film it was a "peace time" for Gotham.
On a side note, finally played Arkham City and beat it before seeing the movie. I think that might have put a damper on TDKR for me because I found AC captured the spirit of the characters much better and had a great ending

I'm hoping with the ending, this could lead to a new trilogy focusing on Robin or Nightwing. They could use it as a way to introduce other villains to the Nolan movies. I think it would be awesome to see Bruce training him and all to take over protecting Gotham.

To be honest, I don't really want to see it continue. It's an epic series and as such I think they should leave it there, as is. The ending was open, but not open enough to need to continue.
Just my opinion, though.

Finally saw it. Loved it. I think the people who are saying it sucked/are bashing it for not taking enough from the prior film are retarded and went in with one of two predetermined notions:
1. It couldn't top TDK no matter what and they'll accept that because of no Joker (and because all of the little faggots love shit they can quote, kinda like why people love that twink Drake)
2. They just want attention and to be different so they'll dislike it and pick at it.
Fucking perfect trilogy. Right behind Star Wars as my favorite. They took as much as they could from TDK, as the whole beginning revolves around Batman not being there and Dent's death.

I saw on WF what someone said and it made me think how epic it could have been to see Joker as the judge instead of Scarecrow. Then I remembered Joker was in Arkham, and not Blackgate. But still, just imagine that scene with Joker. Loved Scarecrow in it too.

I'm glad they left the Joker out of it. I think not being able to use Ledger in the same trilogy pretty much decided that the Joker wouldn't be there. I loved the Scarecrow judge cameo.
