Hey guys, I just wanted to tell you guy's I have just recently joined up to a Wrestling Club in my local town Newcastle.
I was reading that you have to have wrestling experience from 3 - 5 years to become a WWE Superstar..
and You know me, I have the details, and I start wrestling training next Tuesday and Thursday, every single week for as long as I can.
Anyone got opinions? How far do you think I could get with hard work and training?

I reckon you could give it a go, its gonna take atleast 1 year to get into any sort of wrestling shape. You have to be fully commited to it too, if there is even the slightest thought of 'i cant make it' then your mentally out of the game already. I like to do some wrestling from time to time but i am not willing to go anywhere with it.
Give yourself a year to Physically and Mentally prepare for wrestling and go for it!

Yeah, well you know me, I have to be "CLEAR" First, witch is on a streak and I'm doing well with it.
I am willing to do it, I sit and watch the WWE and TNA, and I think to my self, I can do it, I have faith and it's really wanting me to go for it, but first I'll have to start some training next week and see how it goes.
I'm not really fussed about pain, I've had some real rough events in my life so far and I recon I could do it, I have confidence that's why is signed up to the club.

You need to have a full time job to support it. I was in training with a place near me for a good few months, but I didn't have the money to support it. To be good, you have to be dedicated, it's a steep learning curve. I was on 5 lessons @£15 each a week, and my job got me just over £500 per month, plus my student loan but I still couldn't afford it and still survive so I gave it up. I try to keep myself in shape (normally, but I gave up over christmas ) and hope to go back after I finish this year at uni. But be prepared going in, suitable clothes and such is a must. I suggest trying some yoga to loosen yourself up a bit (it helped me tenfold) and it'll help with some training (like front bumps are taught by first making you do a handstand, then falling onto your back, yoga helps with balance) To get far, you need a good look (get in shape!) character and personality, oh and a fuck tonne of luck. It'll hurt like crazy at first, but you get used to the general wear and tear pretty quickly. Get as many extra lessons as you can, and as son as your trainer says you are ready for shows, get in as many as possible for any event either nearby or elsewhere in the country, getting noticed is the hardest part. If you follow through, good luck, and you never know, we may meet in the future

Im not saying im going for the WWE but in years to come if I stick to it, it could become a option!

Drew McIntyre used to train in Newcastle, and Scotland of course. So if he made it then why can't you? Good luck with it.

Good luck man! It's something I wanted to get into but never got around to it. I'v done some basic mat wrestling and did some MMA/UFC style stuff in a class at the gym.
Just be prepaired for the first few sessions is all I can say from the various documentories and indepedndent videos I'v watched. Louis Therouxs and Adam Pacittis are just two of the more "well known" ones I'v seen. Even Karl Pilkinton, Freddie Flintoff and Darren Gough did some. I know someone in america who did some and he said it was painful the first few weeks, then you just "get used to it" he said.
Go for it and make us proud!

I have just really got in to wrestling half way in last year and I started to watch it,yes I smoke weed but for one I have stopped for about 3 month now and I'm going to stop completely and for the second I'm in pretty nice shape. This first few sessions will be hard, as I wont have a clue where to start and for the pain, meh, I'm fine with that I can handle some pain. but there is one thing I "MIGHT" need to work on and that is my temper problem, but Kev the bloke on the phone said they have anger management trainers there n the center as well, so I was pretty glad. Years to come you never ever know, I could do well and I could be riding inn fame!! A lot of my family are supporting me from the likes of my Brothers mostly.
