PRO WRESTLING CHICAGO -RESOLUTION- Brought to you by GoFightLive.TV
Resolution opened with Joey Styles in the ring with a microphone where he welcomes everyone and then introduces the owner of PWC, CM Punk. Punk comes out and briefly talks about why he started PWC, and that you can expect the best wrestlers on the independent circuit today. Punk thanked everyone for coming out and left the ring as Joey Styles picked up on commentary.
Chicago Tag Team Championships Contender Match Motor City Machine Guns vs The Kings of Wrestling Great match up from both teams, all four men came out looking strong. However, in the end, The Kings of Wrestling picked up the win after Hero nailed the Rolling Elbow with a loaded elbow pad to the back of Shelley's head. The Kings will go into the championship match later in the show.
Sabin tended to Shelley following the loss as Hero taunted at him before exiting the ring. Shelley finally came to and had to be helped from the ringside area by his partner, Chris Sabin.
A pre-taped promo from Low Ki played. He talked briefly about the main event and said he plans on walking out the first ever Champion of Chicago.
Backstage interview with the Kings of Wrestling. They put themselves over as the greatest tag team of all time. Haas and Benjamin confront them about being the greatest tag team of all time. Castagnoli says we'll see who walks out the champs.
Chicago Tag Team Championships Contender Match The American Wolves vs Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team An all around great match up that had the crowd going nuts. Both teams were cheered heavily throughout the match. At around the 21 minute mark, Benjamin picked up the win with a superkick, enziguri, and finally a T-Bone suplex combo on Richards.
Haas and Benjamin celebrated in the ring as Richards and Edwards approached them following the loss. Both teams shook hands in a sign of respect and then Richards and Edwards left the ring.
A pre-taped interview with Matt Cross was shown where he talked about how he has been fighting his whole life for an opportunity to prove he's the best. He finished by saying he will be the first ever Chicago Champion.
Joey Styles recaps the first two matches and lets everyone know that the Kings of Wrestling and Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team will face off for the titles in the semi-main event.
Chicago Junior Heavyweight Championship El Generico vs Chuck Taylor vs Ricochet vs Jay Lethal There was a lot of action in this match with many, many near falls from all the men in the match. Jay Lethal nearly had the match won with a diving elbow from the top rope but Chuck Taylor would end up shoving him out of the ring and stealing his pinfall to pick up the big win. Taylor quickly exited the ring after being handed the Junior Heavyweight Title.
Taylor mocked Lethal and the others in the match as he walked to the back and proclaimed himself as the greatest of all time
A pre-taped interview with Johnny Gargano was shown where he put himself over and talked about winning in the main event, even though no one thinks he will.
Chicago Tag Team Championships Kings of Wrestling vs Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team One of the best tag team matches in a long time is what the fans at ringside were calling it. Both teams put up a huge effort, however the ending came when Hero tried using the loaded elbow pad on Haas but Alex Shelley entered the ring from the crowd and ripped the pad off behind the referee's back which led to Hero taking a superkick from Benjamin followed by a German Suplex into a pin from Haas for the win.
Haas and Benjamin celebrated as Claudio pulled Hero out of the ring and helped him to the back. CM Punk came out with the Tag Team Championships and awarded them to Haas and Benjamin and congratulated them on the win.
Before the main event could get underway, Chris Jericho made his entrance into the building. Joey Styles asked him what he was doing here and he said he was invited by CM Punk to come to the show and oversee the main event title match as a special enforcer. Jericho starts to exit the ring when he is attacked by someone who came out of the crowd. The person is revealed to be Jon Moxley who tries hurting Jericho by slamming his arm repeatedly into the ring post. CM Punk comes running out as Moxley exits through the crowd and leaves out the front door.
Jericho is helped to the back by Punk and a referee as the main event gets started
Chicago Heavyweight Championship Double Elimination Match Johnny Gargano vs "MDogg" Matt Cross vs Low Ki An awesome encounter for the championship took place. All 3 guys brought the best they had and it was evident by all the near falls. Gargano looked to have the match won when he had Low Ki locked in a crossface chicken wing with a body scissors, however, Cross came off the top with a shooting star press, landing on both of them. Cross quickly pinned Gargano who took most of the damage to pick up the win.
CM Punk made his way back out to the ring with the Chicago Heavyweight Championship and awarded it to Cross. Punk raised his arm as Cross held the title in the air but then Jon Moxley again entered from the crowd and knocked both guys to the ground before grabbing the title. Moxley tried to leave with it but was tackled by a group of police officers and handcuffed. CM Punk told them to "haul his fuckin' ass to jail!"
Joey Styles went over the events of the night before thanking everyone for watching and reminded them to keep up with PWC on YouTube.
