After the video of CM Punk promising something huge, Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler say that something is in the air tonight. They say that something huge is going to happen, but they don’t know what.
Opening Match United States Championship Match Jack Swagger© vs Goldust Swagger looked to come in cocky against Goldust but Goldust quickly slapped the cockiness out of Swagger. Goldust nearly won the championship on several occasions. Swagger used a cheap shot to get his way back into the match and eventually nailed the Swagger Bomb but Goldust was able to kick out. Swagger attempted another but Goldust countered out and nailed a Curtain Call on Swagger. Swagger quickly rolled out of the ring and intentionally got himself counted out. Goldust looked on upset as the referee awarded Goldust the win, however Swagger kept the title. Swagger left ringside with the US Championship in hand with a smirk on his face as Goldust stood in the ring.
CM Punk was shown backstage and he was approached by Josh Matthews. Josh attempted to ask Punk about his plans for the night but Punk just kept walking past him.
Match 2 Justin Gabriel vs Jamie Noble Jamie Noble made his return to the WWE in this match. Both men put up a great fight, however Noble was able to take advantage after Gabriel missed his signature 450 Splash. Noble put Gabriel away with a Tigerbomb for the win. The referee raised Noble’s hand in victory and then John Laurinaitis came out. He congratulated Noble on winning the match and said that Noble is the second man to enter the Light Heavyweight Championship match at No Mercy. He said more participants will be decided in the coming weeks.
Triple H then comes out behind Laurinaitis on the stage. He said he wants to know what the hell is going on with CM Punk and this new COO. Laurinaitis says Triple H is on a need to know basis, and he will find out everything tonight…along with everyone else.
Match 3 The Uso’s vs Awesome Truth This was a very good tag team match. Both teams looked to have something to prove. Miz nailed a Skull Crushing Finale on Jey Uso but Jimmy Uso broke up the pin. All four men began to battle in the ring until The Dudley Boyz hit the ring. The referee threw the match out as all three teams did battle. This brought John Laurinaitis back out and he shouted at all three teams to stop fighting. After a group of referee’s broke up the chaos in the ring, Laurinaitis announced a match for next week’s Raw. It will be a triple threat tag team match between The Dudley Boyz, The Uso’s, and Awesome Truth. He said the winners will receive a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships in the future against the champions Air Boom.
As Laurinaitis turned to leave the stage he was met by Kevin Nash! Nash stared him down and then back him to the edge of the stage area. Laurinaitis looked confused and then Nash struck him in the gut with a knee. Nash then proceeded to Jacknife Powerbomb Laurinaitis off the stage! Paramedics and EMT’s rushed to his aid as Nash left.
Triple H was shown backstage looking for Nash but he was nowhere to be found. Triple H ran into the Punk and got in his face. Punk just smiled and said “Hey Trips, how’s it going? Make sure you stay here for the end of Raw…you don’t wanna miss it buddy”. Punk walked off leaving Triple H in anger.
Match 4 Curt Hawkins vs Drew McIntyre McIntyre got on the mic before the match and said tonight he plans on finishing what he started last week. Hawkins attacked him and the match began. It was a very back and forth match with a few near falls from both men. Hawkins attempted his Laugh Riot finishing maneuver but McIntyre fought out. McIntyre attempted his Future Shock DDT but Hawkins quickly countered into a small package for the win.
McIntyre attacked Hawkins following the match. He kicked him low and then started to put the boots to him until Zack Ryder made the save. Ryder slid in the ring and McIntyre quickly exited. Ryder stared at McIntyre as he backed up the ramp and then as Ryder turned around he was met with a huge boot to the face from Sheamus! McIntyre quickly got back in the ring and he and Sheamus left Hawkins and Ryder lying in the middle of the ring after a beat down. McIntyre said this is the beginning a new team in the WWE and they are planning to run the tag team division.
Match 5 Women’s Championship Beth Phoenix© vs Alicia Fox The match wasn’t too long, Beth made quick work of Alicia. Alicia had a little offensive but Beth used her power to put Alicia away with the Glam Slam for the win. Beth looked in the camera holding the Women’s Title and said “I’m still waiting for a challenge”
It was announced that John Laurinaitis was rushed to a local medical facility and his condition is unknown at this point
Cody Rhodes was shown backstage with the Undisputed Championship watching a monitor when John Cena entered the room. Cena said he knows Rhodes has a dark past, but he hopes Rhodes is looking towards the light now. Rhodes said he has seen the light and his dark days are over and smiles at Cena. Cena looks unsure but ultimately says “ok” and leave Rhodes in time for the main event.
Main Event John Cena vs Triple H This match was a great one. Cena and Hunter went at it back and forth for a while before Hunter took control. Cena fought back, but Hunter stopped him. Hunter attempted a Pedigree but Cena countered out with a backdrop. Cena nailed his series of moves on Hunter but was stopped with a facebuster. Hunter nailed the Pedigree but then Kevin Nash stepped out of the crowd. Triple H looked at him and said “You son a bitch” as Nash bolted for the ring. Nash entered the ring and began brawling with Triple H as the referee threw the match out.
Nash laid out the referee and then dropped Triple H with a boot. Nash nailed a powebomb on Cena as he got up as Punk came walking down the ramp smiling. Nash handcuffed Triple H to the ropes as Punk entered the ring. Nash rolled Cena out of the ring and Punk stood in the ring. He looked at Nash and smiled and then shook his hand as Triple H looked on in anger. Punk grabbed a mic, looked at Triple H, and then back at Nash. He said “Hey Kev, sorry….”
Just as he said that a man ran into the ring and laid out Nash with a vicious kick to the chest. This man was revealed to be Vladimir Kozlov. Punk then pulled the mic up to his mouth again and began to talk, and he said “You know, I wanted to come out here and say that Kevin Nash was just a big a part of what’s going to happen tonight as CM Punk is…but he’s not. Kevin Nash is one of the main reasons why my quest for change is happening in the first place. He’s one of the guys who held down everyone in this business. He killed many careers and told guys they didn’t have what it took, when they did.”
Punk then turns and looks at Triple H “The same thing you do Hunter. You and Kevin Nash are just a like, you’re all about your spots. You don’t want to lose them to someone younger, or perhaps more talented than you are. So you run and find excuses as to why they will never be anything in this business. Well CM Punk is here for change, and change is what’s coming. John Laurinaitis didn’t like my idea for change, and you see where that got him. Sure I used Kevin Nash to take him out, and to take you out at Night of Champions. I needed Nash to think he was on my side so that I could get you, Hunter, out of power and to lose your COO spot. And I did just that.”
Triple H kicks at Punk and then Kozlov begins to beat on Triple H in the ropes as he is defenseless. Punk continues “I’ve said it all along. The WWE needs change, and I’m the man who will bring that change. Now you may be wondering who the new COO is, well….I’m not going to tell you just yet. But know this, the new COO is a fan of CM Punk’s change. Much like CM Punk, he’s a smart smart man, some might even say a genius. So let it be known, I accept all of you out there that have been shunned by the likes of Triple H and Kevin Nash over the years. I accept the ones who have never been given a fair chance. Join me in this crusade for change and I promise you, you will get what you have always deserved. Join myself and Mr. Kozlov here in leading a new revolution. I’m here to do something that should have been done a long time ago and I’m here to make it right. I am CM Punk and this is a new dawn.”
Raw ends with Punk standing in the ring, backed up by Kozlov, with Triple H still handcuffed to the ropes

-I like that Goldust isn't a jobber. -Jamie Noble was sort of random, but I understand bringing him back. -Triple Threat Tag Team = #winning. -I like that Ryder and Hawkins got each others backs. Needs moar Trent Barreta. -Good main event. -Ending was sort of a let down. Could've been better if the guy would've been someone who is like, a bigger name. I also never really saw Kozlov as talented, so maybe it's just a matter of opinion. Tried giving some feedback rather than just saying 'good show', lol.

Yeah but the way I'm using Kozlov is more of an enforcer. There are more surprises to come

The show opened with CM Punk coming to the ring with his body guard Vladimir Kozlov. Punk stated that he was informed by the new COO that Triple H has been banned from the building and Punk has been left in charge of Raw for the time being. Punk went on to state that he plans to do things the way he envisions things being done. He said he will be continuing the idea of making light heavyweights important again. He said he has some great matches lined up for Raw. Match 1 Tyson Kidd vs PrimoThis was a very good, fast paced opening match. There were many near falls from both men however the ending saw Primo miss a spring board cross body which allowed Kidd to follow up with his Code Blue finishing move. CM Punk walked out and said that Tyson Kidd is now in the Light-Heavyweight Championship match at No Mercy. He said there will be one more match next week to decide the final man in the match at No Mercy to crown the champion. John Cena was interviewed backstage by Josh Matthews about his WWE Championship match at No Mercy. He said he expects it to be a great match, but he doesn’t know if he can trust Cody Rhodes to leave it a fair match. Rhodes walks up and says John needs to trust him, he’s left his dirty ways in the past. Cena says he hopes so and walks off. Cody Rhodes then tells Josh Matthews that the match at No Mercy is going to be completely fair. Match 2 Zack Ryder and Curt Hakwins vs Cold Blooded(Sheamus and Drew McIntyre) w/ Vickie Guerrero & Dolph ZigglerBefore the match started Vickie stated that Sheamus and Drew McIntyre are now a part of her family and they will be known as Cold Blooded. This was a great tag team match. Sheamus had the match under control until Ryder tagged out to Hawkins and he came in on fire. Hawkins took both men down to the canvas and looked to be on his way to victory until Vickie jumped up on the ring apron which allowed Dolph to come in behind Hawkins and lay him out with a Zig Zag. Sheamus quickly stopped Ryder coming in the ring with a Brogue Kick as McIntyre pinned Hawkins. Ziggler, Sheamus, and McIntyre proceeded to beat down on Hawkins and Ryder until Trent Barreta made the save alongside the Big O! The two mean fought off the three and sent them into retreat. They helped Hawkins and Ryder up as Vickie left with her family and shouted this isn’t over. Match 3 Goldust vs ChristianThis was a very good back and forth match. Goldust had control most of the match until Christian poked him in the eye. Christian then took control but wouldn’t have it for long. Christian missed a frog splash and Goldust looked to be setting up for the Curtain Call when Jack Swagger started making his way to the ring. Goldust noticed him and then got caught off guard with an Unprettier that gave Christian the win. Christian left the ring, celebrating the victory as Swagger got in the ring.Swagger slapped Goldust in the face and then Goldust fired back with a slap of his own. Swagger was then met with a barrage of slaps and punches as Goldust fought back against him. Swagger quickly retreated to the outside of the ring as Goldust stood tall in the ring. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins were interviewed backstage by Scott Stanford about what happened after their match. Ryder said he and Hawkins figured Sheamus and Drew had something planned so they called their family to watch their backs. Ryder said Big O will be watching the backs of the Broski Brigade, made up of himself Curt Hawkins, and Trent Barreta. CM Punk was shown backstage in a office when he was approached by Randy Orton. Orton said he heard Punk say he was in control, so Orton was there to request a match. Punk said sure, he can have a match. Orton said he wanted to face Punk. Punk told Orton unfortunately he didn’t come dressed to compete so instead, Orton can face someone else. Punk told Orton to get ready because his match was in the main event. Match 4 #1 Contender for the Tag Team Championships The Dudley Boyz vs Awesome Truth vs The UsosA great tag team bout took place in this one. All 3 teams looked to be on the verge of victory at different times. Miz nearly won for his team but Bubba Dudley broke it up. Jey Uso was laid out with a 3D halfway through the match that nearly won the Dudleyz the match. Jimmy Uso nailed a huge splash off the top rope on R-Truth that almost got his team the win. The ending came when Jimmy attempted another huge splash but missed and Miz followed with a Skull Crushing Finale, however The Dudleyz stole the win as Bubba came in and knocked Miz to the ground allowing D’Von to pick up the pinfall. The Dudleyz stood in the ring as the victors until The Usos attacked. A three team brawl took place, with The Dudleyz finally getting the upperhand on the teams and walking out leaving the other four men lying. Bubba looked in the camera and told Air Boom they are next. A motorcycle was shown pulling up backstage but the driver could not be seen as he was wearing a full face mask. He got off the bike and walked into the arena Main Event Handicap Match Randy Orton vs Air BoomThis match was ordered by CM Punk to take place. Orton did a good job of fending off both men and keeping Bourne grounded for the most part. Bourne eventually got the tag out to Kingston who came in and was on fire against Orton. Orton nearly nailed an RKO but Kingston countered it. Orton was eventually overcome and laid out with a Trouble in Paradise from Kingston and then a Air Bourne from Evan to put Orton away.Following the match, Kingston and Bourne helped Orton up only to be attacked by The Dudley Boyz. Orton tried to help Kingston and Bourne but Punk came into the ring and attacked Orton. The Dudleyz and Punk put a beat down on Orton the tag team champions until the man driving the motorcycle walked onto the stage after a blast of pyro went off to get Punk’s attention. Punk turned to look towards the stage as the man stood there with his face covered by the mask, only showing his eyes. Punk shouted “Who the hell are you?!” and then Punk and The Dudleyz were attacked by Orton and Air Boom. The Dudleyz and Punk quickly left the ring and walked up the ramp where Punk backed into the mysterious masked person who just stared a hole through Punk. Punk and The Dudleyz quickly jumped off the entrance ramp and retreated through a side exit as the masked person stood on the ramp watching him run off as Raw ended.

Dark Match * Joe Hennig defeated Santino Marella in a quick match. Hennig looked good in the match and unveiled a new finishing move. It was a variation of his father’s Perfect Plex only without the pin and resembled a brainbuster in a way.
* Raw opening with CM Punk in the ring, standing behind him were The Dudley Boyz and Vladimir Kozlov. Punk said last week he set out to teach Randy Orton a lesson, and in return he got one upped by someone in a mask who’s too cowardly to reveal himself to him. He said but enough about that for now and turned to Kozlov. Punk asked Kozlov where he was when this masked man showed up…Kozlov started to speak and then Punk pulled the microphone away and turned his back. The Dudleys attacked Kozlov from behind and gave him a 3D before picking him up. Punk slapped Kozlov in the face and told him his services are no longer required and that he is fired. The Dudleys then tossed the unconscious Kozlov out of the ring. Punk then began talking again about the mystery man when he was interrupted by Randy Orton. Punk said he figured Orton learned a lesson not to get on his bad side, Orton said he isn’t afraid of Punk. He said it is Punk who shouldn’t be screwing with Orton. Orton said he wants Punk to prove it by accepting a match with him in the main event. Punk says he has a better idea, CM Punk and The Dudley Boyz against Randy Orton and his opponents from last week Air Boom in a 6 man tag team match. Orton says on behalf of Air Boom, he accepts.
Opening Match Last Chance Match Sin Cara vs Justin Gabriel vs Primo vs Kid Kash
* This match featured the three who lost their previous matches as well as the returning Kid Kash in a last chance match to get into the Light Heavyweight Championship match at No Mercy on Sunday. All four men brought their A game however the end result saw Kid Kash pick up the win after nailing the Money Maker on Sin Cara. Kash celebrated following the victory and signaled that he would be the new Light Heavyweight Champion on Sunday at No Mercy.
* Cody Rhodes was shown backstage putting his wrestling gear on. Jim Ross stated that Cody will be in action against Wade Barrett later on
Match 2 Curt Hawkins vs Drew McIntyre
* This was a good match. Both guys came prepared and were looking for a victory to make their team look good going into No Mercy. Hawkins looked to be calling for the finish with his Laugh Riot DDT however Sheamus made his presence felt distracting Hawkins until Zack Ryder came running down the aisle. The match eventually broke down into a brawl and the referee called the match a no contest. Ryder and Hawkins got the upper hand on Sheamus and McIntyre until Dolph Ziggler hit the ring. Trent Barreta followed Ziggler out and a three on three brawl broke out. The Guerrero Family used cheap tactics to get the upper hand until Big O came running down with a chair and they fled the ring.
* CM Punk came out and said since he’s been appointed to run Raw for the time being, he is making a match for No Mercy on Sunday that will feature Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, and Drew McIntyre against Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins, and Trent Barreta in a six man tag team match.
* John Cena was shown backstage getting prepared for his match. Jerry Lawler announced that Cena will face off one on one with Christian.
Match 3 Jack Swagger vs John Morrison
* Swagger looked very focused in this match, he had the match firmly in his hands until Goldust came out on the stage and sat in a gold chair. Swagger yelled out at him and was caught off guard with a spring board kick from Morrison that nearly got him the win. Swagger eventually battled back and nailed the Swagger Bomb for the win. Swagger holds the US Title high above his head and looks at Goldust who is still sitting on the stage. Jim Ross stated that Swagger will have his hands full Sunday at No Mercy when he defends the US Title against Goldust.
* Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler went over the No Mercy lineup for Sunday

Women’s Championship Beth Phoenix defends against TBD opponent
* Beth Phoenix was interviewed about who she thinks he opponent will be at No Mercy. She said it didn’t matter but it better be someone worthy of the challenge.
Match 4 John Cena vs Christian
* This was a very good back and forth match that saw a few near falls. Christian used his cheating ways to try and get the early win but Cena would have none of it. Cena attempted an FU but Christian grabbed onto the referee which led to Cena breaking the hold. Christian avoided a shoulder block from Cena that connected with the already dazed referee. Christian then took advantage with a low blow on Cena. Christian brought the ring bell into the ring and looked to be attempting to use it on Cena until Cody Rhodes ran into the ring and took the bell from Christian which led to Christian getting in his face and turning into an FU from Cena. Rhodes dropped the bell and left the ring as Cena picked up the win. Cena nodded his head at Cody Rhodes following the match and said “I owe ya one.”
* CM Punk was shown in the parking lot with the Dudleys admiring a motorcycle. Punk said it was the same one from last week. He said they still have time before the main event and set out to find the masked guy from the end of the last raw.
Match 5 Cody Rhodes vs Wade Barrett
* Cody looked to be in great shape. The Undisputed Champion took control over Barrett early on but Barrett fought back. Cody nearly won the match with a roll up. Barrett came back with a thumb to the eye of Rhodes and then took control. Barrett went for the Waste Land but Rhodes slid off his back and quickly nailed the Cross Rhodes to pick up the win. Rhodes celebrated with the Undisputed Championship until Christian came from the crowd and attacked him. Barrett and Christian began a two on one until John Cena made the save. Cena and Rhodes fought off Christian and then Cena went for a clothesline on Barrett but he accidentally nailed Rhodes. Barrett laid Cena out with a boot to the jaw and then left the ring.
* Rhodes got back to his feet at the same time as Cena and looked at him upset and said “What the hell was that?” Cena responded that he was sorry and said it was an accident but Rhodes shoved him away and left the ring with the Undisputed Title.
* CM Punk was shown in the back opening doors saying “Where are you?!” He opened a second door and was met by someone grabbing his throat and pushing him against a wall. It was revealed to be Big Show. Show told Punk he should try knocking before opening doors. Show shoved Punk up against the wall and walked off as Punk looked on in anger. As Punk walked off the masked man was shown standing in the background watching him.
* Cody Rhodes was shown in his locker room when Cena walked in. Cody told him to leave and Cena said he was only trying to apologize for what happened in the ring. Rhodes said “Just bring your best Sunday, John” and then Rhodes walked off.
Main Event 6 Man Tag Match Randy Orton & Air Boom vs CM Punk & The Dudley Boyz
* The match never officially got under way as The Dudleyz attacked Air Boom backstage. The two teams brawled around the backstage area until CM Punk showed up followed by Randy Orton. Chaos erupted backstage as all six men were brawling. Bourne was slammed through a table as Bubba Ray and D-Von double teamed Kingston and left him laying. They then went after Orton. Orton did his best fighting off all three men but the eventually got the best of him. Punk looked to be trying to take Orton out for good by handcuffing him to a chain link fence in the parking lot and picking up a sledgehammer. Punk walked towards Orton as the Dudleyz watched on. Just as Punk got to Orton, the masked man stepped out from behind a truck. Punk jumped and started walking backwards slowly. Punk and The Dudleyz quickly made an exit in a car as the masked man stood watching as Raw ended.
