Me and some guys on another forum (mpiremall.info, shameless plug) are making a wrestling game. I'm doing 3D work mostly but also some textures etc. I thought I'd show off some of my work here, as it's a little dead over there and I'd like some feedback. Character Model Arena Model

That looks pretty badass. How hard is it to make 3D textures and models that you can actually use to animate?

Nice man. You've done more work than I have in a wrestling game. The one I made was so incomplete, because I was focusing on more wrestlers than anything else...hell I even had an SPZ in it at one point lmao. Keep it up dude. What's the poly count on the wrestler?

SPZ? No wonder you didn't get far, his file size would be HUGE.

Cheers guys. Glad you all like it.
TC, Ermol, and KoK, if you guys are interested in helping out or anything, you can sign up over at mpire mall and we can help you get started. We've got 3 projects on the go right now and there seems to be only 3 people working on them so we need the help lol
The model is at 4000 polys/ 8000 tris, which im really happy with. The arena is also nearly complete and thats just short of 10000 polys all thanks to creative lighting should help to get us some better features and more detailed textures.
Cane, I started making these in about February or so. Although I've had a hectic uni schedule so I haven't dedicated that much time to it. I guess if I were working on it full time I would have it done in about a month.

Well, it depends what you want to do really. There are 3 games being made right now, a mod called TWC5, and the two projects we're working on, Projects X and Y all in their own sections. What I suggest is that you make a welcome post (people seem to get pissy when you don't) then read a couple of tutorials, download the resources, try making a couple mods then post them. I would focus on 2D texture mods and TWC5 cause that's what we're working on at the moment. There is a TWC4 download avaliable to see the work that was done before, and you can practise with some mods for that. Also, another screenshot Little "Disclaimer" though, the game won't be featuring any WWE or other real characters, it will have made up characters due to copyrights and stuff.

How long do you think it will take to finalise the game?

No idea, I'm afraid. A year? Maybe two? This is all being done part time and at the moment it seems as though there is only 3 of us working on it, and we've got a couple of different projects in the works first.
Uksix, we really need texture modders for TWC5 so feel free to join us!
