Match 1 This is a really hard vote. Where Dave's is a massive improvement on his current standard, it has great shading for the most part and fantastic line work, it's the AA that really lets it down. You've lost a lot of edge definition in some places, but then it looks very choppy and harsh in others. Even appears to have pillow shading in a couple of spots. Gav's is great, face has resemblance, despite being small, logos look cool and shading is very well done, especially on the tights. One thing that lets this down is I feel the title is a little too squashed. Hard vote, but got to give it to Dave, if only for the level of improvement.
Match 2 Vote goes to Cane. Really top notch micro. I can't see anything wrong with it and the face has been done superbly. SPZ, Very good attempt, nice to see you tried with some AA at least. It just doesn't stack up to Cane's, unfortunately.
NGW Nice attempt, especially with the pose, but the line work seems off. For reference, look at Haasamniac's Daniel Bryan, which has a really well executed pose in this style. You all want to shade the arm with a lot more detail.

One thing that lets this down is I feel the title is a little too squashed. Can't complain because I think the same thing. Could've made it taller but already had the detail in place and it honestly would not have been a game changer anyway. Mattel's tag belt that came with Arn Anderson is squashed like this too so, swings and roundabouts.
