Your match with AC is the biggest match of your micro career. You are main eventing Micromania XII in a Champion vs. Champion match, it couldn't possibly get any bigger. What makes you motivated and makes you think that you will be walking out as MS Undisputed Champion?
Honestly, what keeps me motivated is the responses and comments by the other microers. Every time I receive good feedback and compliments on my work, I feel great. Knowing that other people, especially fellow microers, like and enjoy what I do, makes me want to keep working and try my best to get better each time. For some reason, I've had quite success in the last number of months; which put me in the position I'm now. I was able to win the Micro Rumble two times in a row, and get a win over some of the best, including you Cane, and now I'm main eventing MicroMania. Do I feel confident about my chances in this match? I do. I've defeated AC already, and I know I can do it again.
How long have you been making micros and how did you discover them?
I had to do some research to know this. It would be around July in 2010, so that would be almost 4 years ago. Although 4 years seems like quite a long time for a microer, I still feel like one of the new guys. If I remember correctly, I saw them first over caws and it got my attention. I started making them right away.
How do you go about making your micros? Do you do outlines first, faces first or last, do small areas at a time or work on the entire thing at once?
I usually use the same body template and start with the face, as i feel it's the most important part. But, when I want to work on a pose or the guy i'm making has a different body figure, I tweak my template first and then do the rest. When it comes to outlines and working on the costume, I do the outlines to get a general idea of what it would look like, and then work on small areas. In other words, it depends.
Any words for your opponent, AC?
AC, you are great at what you do, BUT my time has come, and I'll do my best to become the only World Champion here at MicroStop. Oh wait, good luck!
