I like it. Shaping is really nice, imo. But some of the creases at the top of the trousers (above the knee) look weird, where they have the brighter bit with them. You need to work on that IMO.

I dont like the circular round shading around the edges of the singlet, and the rest of the shading on the singlet isnt great either. Head also looks a bit small. Pose is great and its a very original concept, though. I like it.

I'm gonna say this is just about pushing general pixel art but it's no biggie really.

The overall shaping is very, very well done and proportional, and I really like the arm bands, some of the shading seems mismatched to me. For example you have very dark shading around the edge of the shirt, and very light subtle shading inside the shirt. Try making these work together rather than separately. Im not too crazy about the little highlight spots on the pants, but other than those the shading on them is very good.

Thanks for the advice. Will work on it later.
I'd just like to know. What is the difference between a micro and pixel art?

Micros can be anything, but they are usually standing front on and have a standard pose (though arms/etc. can be changed). Someone posted a really original posed Kane here recently that was kinda side on, looking down a bit. Thats pixel art. Its more of a paint drawing than a micro.

Yes, that was MRN for an MWE match. But I am still trying to proportion Jeff to make him straight on.

Yours is straight on. Its just rather large, head is in proportion pretty much, plus its posed. Its borderline micro, so dont stress lol.

I really like this. The pants and arms look great. I think the gray armband should be white though, it would help it stand out more. As said, the tanktop shading isn't great and it could use some work. There's a huge difference between the contrast of the shirt itself and the shading around the edges. I also think the chest should be the same color as the face because it looks kinda dark. I'm anxious to see how this turns out in the end. It's great so far.

And thanks for all the positive feedback guys (I've been getting e-raped on CAWS for it not being a micro >_>)

Looks really good. Shading in the shirt still isnt super-exciting or anything, but its definitely an improvement. I like the pants better without the highlights, although I kinda liked the foot shaping before, but I get that you changed it so it was more straight on.
The whole micro/pixel art thing is just such a pointless argument. One persons definition could be totally different from someone elses. Not to mention the fact that micros have changed immensely since they first became popular

Eh, it would be pointless, they seem way too set in their ways. If they wanna ignore quality work in favor of labels, its their problem
