You guys haven't seen the video of him at the TNA event? Someone posted it on GameFAQ's, not sure if you're familar with it. I'll try to find it. Sandman got on the top rope with Raven, Dreamer, Richards, etc after Impact or something. I haven't been following Impact so I dunno what show..
EDIT: HEre we are:
Enter Sandman playing! Hopefully they use it during the live version of Hardcore Justice

Just cringed at the thought of the shit music most will probably get stuck with. I hate TNA's themes, praying they do some original songs

Yeah I was thinking the same thing before I saw that video. The DVD version will probably have shitty covers, but the live version could use the real themes, because I believe that it's legal to use audio tracks on a live recording, but not on a taped recording.

Hopefully thats the case. They used a TNA-ized version of "Man in the Box" for Dreamer on impact but that was taped

Yeah, remember WWE's One Night Stand '05 where they used Enter Sandman for Sandman, and Man in the Box for Dreamer on the live show...but on the replays and DVD's it was WWE production music sadly. I hope TNA uses some real music for the live show, I'm probably ordering it.

Rob Van Dam vs Sabu is the substitute match for RVD vs Lynn. Should be good, I'm just incredibly worried because of Sabu's metal rod in his back...I know he's a crazy sumbitch...but still...

PPV is over, ill post in spoilers for those who are watching it later
[spoilers] To sum it up, it basically turned out just like i thought it would. And thats not bad, but it certainly isnt great. After i found out the show would be in the impact zone, i knew the atmosphere would bring the show down. It just seemed like your standard impact zone imitating the old school fans. I liked the dark, barebones set up though, but the music was shit, I wanted to hear the classic themes (Gangstas coming out to a poly-ringtone version of Natural Born Killaz sank my heart). I really hated Tenay on commentary though, that more than anything just made it felt like i was just watching a special edition of Impact.
The matches themselves seemed like they were thrown together at the last minute, which they probably were, but turned out surprisingly good. I could have gone without a certain dance contest in the opening match though, but i love the FBI so ill forgive it.
Loved seeing 2 Cold Scorpio again, for everyone saying how all these guys are out of shape, the ones in the matches were for the most part in better shape than they have been in a while (im talking to you Axl and Balls).
Also loved seeing Nova back with Richards, and the skit about how they couldnt say ECW or BWO, but however's idea it was to put a false Blue Meanie in there should be beaten over the head with a kendo stick. I could have used more hardcore action in the three way dance, as i didnt find that particularly memorable.
The match between The Dudley Boys and Balls and Axl is where the classic hardcore action really picked up, and I thought it was highly entertaining, and the Gangstas coming out at the end was a big surprise to me. And New Jack talking to JB in the back later almost made me piss myself.
The Raven/Dreamer match was great. Loved every bloody minute of it. Raven getting the barbed wire pulled across his mouth was cringe worthy, and having him win was a nice surprise. I think Foley would have been better off doing commentary with Taz rather than just reffing this match, his involving didnt sway the match much to my memory.
Sabu replacing Jerry Lynn didnt bother me at all, i admire Jerry Lynn's ringwork but Sabu is one of my favourite wrestlers, also him and RVD have tremendous chemistry together. The match could have been longer, though considering Sabu has a rod in his back I could understand, still managed some really good spots in there. Then the obligatory beer bash at the end, i liked that they didnt drag it on though, decent send off. [/spoiler]

when did sabu join the straight edge society? The show wasn't great but wasn't horrible. I liked the segment with Nova, Snow, and Richards when they kept referring to the Simon Dean gimmick. I loved the dance off in the opener too. Dudleys/CSF, Raven/Dreamer, and RVD/Sabu was classic ECW for me. I really enjoyed those three matches the most.
