So good to see some more progress on this. How does the texturing work for the stages?

I just recorded this. The texturing is the same as anything else, it's just .png images, wrapping around various boxes, cylinders, ovals, flat planes, etc. 3D modeling is all geometric shapes, whether they end up looking that way or not, you usually always start with a basic geometric shape and mold from there. Here's a video showing wireframe, flat shade, and textured wireframe to give you an example Also wanna point out, all textures except one for the stage were made by me, by hand, in photoshop.

I was thinking that because of the shape of the stage it would of been alittle different. Stage looks really good. You'll have to tell me what program this is as I love things like this.

Thanks! The program is called NewTek Lightwave. I'm using version 9.6 for Mac, but any version above 5 is great. I like Lightwave because it splits its program into two separate programs. Modeler, and Layout. Modeler is where you model and texture everything, and Layout is where you animate. Obviously, Lightwave isn't the biggest, mainstream 3D program. But many hollywood productions have used it, including the movie 300.

If I downloaded it, and learned a little bit about it, I'd be glad to help make the game.

I'd love to take some 3D models if you wanna make them. When I get the game rolling (as in, able to be ran smoothly) if you want to contribute that's cool. Right now I haven't even delved into the engine itself yet, just some 3D models and animations. I'll keep you posted.
