Alberto Del Rio will be fresh to see in the main event. I'd much rather see him win that someone that didn't need it like Orton or Cena. The only person of the final 4 that could have used the win other than ADR was Barrett.

I would've been happy to see any of my picks win the rumble, Punk, Bourne, Gabriel, Nash and JTG are some of my favourites. Bourne wasnt in it? He is saying he would have liked to see him appear/win. Which he should have ahead of Swoggle or Ziggler.

Del Rio vs Orton vs Cena vs Miz Edge vs Christian Corre vs Nexus Kane vs Taker HHH vs Sheamus
I'm calling it.

It was like, 4 in the morning when I typed that ¬¬ But I would've much prefered Santino to win, over the overrated ADR. I loved Bookers appearance though, but it was a same they didn't use his proper entrance. Things I didn't like about the rumble was the Nexus thing, one of them should've turned on punk. I lost the stream for about a minute just as cenas music played, and when it came back all of nexus had gone, and it was hornswoggle and cena in the ring together, which was a little strange. The Hornswoggle stuff annoyed me too. I really can't stand him. The end annoyed me too, just because santino should've won.

what the fuck....santino? really? That would have been the biggest slap in the face ever....
The whole argument of someone being pushed to the moon so soon is annoying. They did it with Lesnar and it worked wonders for him, so why not try it again? WWE hasn't put enough faith in anyone in a long time to do something like this with them. ADR is very talented, pretty damn good on the mic, and I think he's highly entertaining.

I love santino, mainly because his in ring work was top notch in FCW, and giving him a WWE title shot could let him show off his real in ring skill. Also, ADR just annoys me in general, his crappy entrance theme, the waist of a decent Lucha Star as his Ring Announcer, and the fact that WWE decided to unmask them both. I much prefered Dos Caras as a gimmick. Admittedly, I've not seen a lot of ADR in WWE, but from what I've seen, he seems very different to his indy gimmick, which I really liked.

Santino can never be taken seriously in a WWE Championship contender role, that's pretty much fact. He's spent too much time as a jobber/comedy character to ever be taken as a serious threat to a main event level championship. I like Santino, he's great, but unless WWE did a drastic make over on him and spent A LOT of time making him a serious, legitimate contender, he will never be anything more than a mid card comedy act.

Weirdly, the Rumble was actually awesome in that it had a lot of moments that just made me lol or smile or go shocked. Horrible choice for the winner, I mean, not taking anything away from Del Rio, but it's too early for him. I know it would've been too early for Barrett too, but he could've been a more credible choice. Or Morrison. Meh.

It's not too early. Brock Lesnar came in and within 5 months was WWE Champion and no one bitched. I applaud WWE, they pretty much ruined Wade Barrett so I'm glad to see them actually doing something with Alberto.

They made Lesnar believable. Del Rio was credible early on but seriously, they didn't even do anything decent with him on the Rumble.

I applaud WWE, they pretty much ruined Wade Barrett so I'm glad to see them actually doing something with Alberto. 1. LOTS of people bitched about Lesnar! There were lots of fans of his, but lots thought it was too early also. 2. EXACTLY! They ruined Barrett, so why not use this as a booster back into the main event scene, to both give him more credibility as a leader and to give him fuel for his faction. They are already forcing Alberto Del Rio down our throats. I quite like Albert Del Rio, but he could very well be somebody released in a year or two, as he has nothing overly special or original about him for him to deserve it this early. Lesnar, however, WAS special, and stood out to many people. He was one of the first huge men that could outwrestle and move quicker than most of the smaller guys, and with Paul Heyman behind him, you knew he was destined for success.

I s'pose the biggest problem with him winning the rumble is that generally the rumble is won by people who are already in the main event, so that the main event at Mania can be two high profile superstars. Which is why I wanted Cena or Punk to win, and Main event against Miz at Mania.
