Microstop presents:
[glow=red,2,300]MICRO HALL OF FAME
2011[/glow]
So here we are again with the ultimate ceremony leading into MS Micromania VIII, the latest of the biggest and most prestigious Micro PPV series of all time. Of course, that also means it's time for the Micro Hall of Fame, honouring the best microers of the past, present and future. Creating ability, originality, helping and constant activity factor into the ceremony and I feel all of those being inducted tonight truely deserve to be added to the list of legends. Congratulations to the four of you, I hope you keep improving and keep helping us out here! Thanks!
Styles Mark
I sent Styles Mark a message on WF, but he didn't reply unfortunately and so I have no acceptance speech for him. I will just say a few words on why he is being inducted, hopefully to show you all that micro ability alone isn't everything.
Styles Mark was never one of the best microers. That isn't why he is here. He was around on WF and Microdude for years and ALWAYS replied to thread, ALWAYS helped other members and was even a successful mod on WF, running the whole micro division for basically all of 2007. He was a great guy who I used to talk to quite a lot, but kind of stopped being in contact with for some reason. He hosted many successful PPVs and Challenges and also won the WF Cruiserweight Championship, which was a big deal back then. He also defeated many greats of today in MBL's, including Uksix who is his fellow inductee here tonight.
I congratulate Dan, Styles Mark and welcome him to the Micro Hall of Fame! Thanks for the help and support, as many members from ol' WF would not be making micros currently if you were not there to take over and run the board and boost interest leading into Microdude, which would later evolve and become Microstop, where we all post today. Thanks for that.
Hurricane.

The Hall of Fame. Wow. You know, when I first started posting on the Graphics: Non Design board I was probably 14 or 15 years old. I'm 20 years old now, six years after I started making micros. The first micro I've ever made, The Undertaker is still in my photobucket account actually. I posted it in the beginner's thread on WF and thought I'd never get out. I also really never thought I'd continue working on micros for as long as I have. As a matter of fact, I used to do them for fun and nothing more. Then I saw guys like Hurricane, WFLegend, The X Factor, and so many others and I wanted to improve greatly. I tried as hard as I could and I slowly got better.
Being in the Hall of Fame though…whenever the inductees are announced I really don't expect my name to come up. It's quite an honor actually. I've seen a lot of guys come to this board, and a lot of them leave. I've been through a lot of negative and a lot of growth. When Micro Stop was founded I believe we found our haven. So many forums have been made and abandoned. Micro Stop is home now.
What else is there to say really? I'm honored to be considered among the greats, truly. I wish I had more time to make more micros. I wouldn't be as good as I am if it weren't for Hurricane. Josh has helped these boards more than anyone else, and has given me, personally, so much advise. He's truly groomed many micro artists into what they've become.
I'm not sure how I'll be remembered on here. I'm assuming as King of Kings, the guy who loved Guns N' Roses without a shadow of a doubt. In the meantime, I thank everyone who's ever commented on one of my micros. Anyone who's ever given me tips on how to improve. If I can offer anyone any piece of advise, read the comments you get and apply them to that same micro. If you post a micro and someone says the shading needs work in a particular area, fix it. Hone your skills. You've got a ton of great talent on this forum, I outta know, I've been around here for 6 years now. Take advantage of it and become even better.
Thank you,
King of Kings

It’s a great honour to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. To be there with guys like Hurricane, Koosh, MJH, Alex, PSM and so on is something which seems unreal. After looking at some of my older micros which I still managed to save, I cannot believe how much I have improved, I’m still wondering how the hell I have had some titles since they where crap. I’m still proud of the achievements I have accomplished. Even being a 3 time Tag Champion with JC. I have had two Heavyweight Title shots and lost both to CMC. But now since I’m at my “best” as Hurricane has said. I think its time to win the Heavyweight Title at lease once before I stop. Once again, it’s a huge honour to be inducted.

Honestly, it's such an honor to even be considered for the HOF, at this stage in microing, let alone be entered into it. I Haven't been making them for that long to be totally honest. Not like some people here, who've been doing this for about 6 years. I think maybe two years for me now?
The main person that made it all happen, is Hurricane. The guy, pushed and pushed, for me to try out different techniques of shading. Different styles of shaping. Different templates. Everything. The fact I kept listening, and trying to impress him more with each micro I made, is the sole reason, I'm where I'm at now. It's been great on a singles basis, and on a tag team one, too. I've won the titles with Cane, and had some of the best matches against him too. Another honor is obviously partnering with my current team mate, Gav. GMC is basically whats keeping me going in tag team competition. I'm not sure I'd be bothering with it, in any other team.
It's refreshing to see so many new guys coming in, with a high standard, but also, seeing some of the vets improve too. Seeing Uksix, and KOK surpass their old standards, and continue to get better is awesome. The constant standard of Alex and MJH is one of the main reasons I stick around, but also the fact you have new guys coming in. People like Avcore, Jake_666 and Diablo, all bring in a decent standard of microing that is sure to give a future to the board. Basically, I'd like to say thank you. I've now won the Cruiserweight Belt, (had to be stripped of it, 'cause I couldn't be beaten I might add.) the Tag Belts, United States, MITB, Most Improved 2008 and hopefully after Micromania, I'll have added another Tag Belt to the list. I founded the mini division. Won the mini European, mini Tag and Mini World Titles becoming the first mini Triple Crown winner if I'm correct. I am the current MS World Champion, and now an inductee in the 2011 HOF.
I'm not sure how much longer I've got in the micro tank, but while there's some gas there, you can guarantee, I'll be speeding down the road.
