Bryan Danielson has agreed in principle to a contract with World Wrestling Entertainment.
Bryan has been an exemplary talent and a wonderful member of the Ring of Honor locker room and family since the inception of the company. We couldn’t be happier for Bryan and all of his successes, many of which Ring of Honor has been proud to witness first hand.
We congratulate Bryan on the beginning of this next journey in his brilliant career, and wish him all the best as he progresses. Many Ring of Honor fans refer to Bryan as the “best in the world” and we look forward to looking on in earnest as he shows everyone watching the wrestling world’s biggest stage just why that is.
Bryan will appear as scheduled at all of the September Ring of Honor events. Please join us in Philadelphia, Dayton, Chicago, Boston, and New York as we say thank you and farewell to a truly one-of-a-kind talent.

Seen some of his matches and hes a great worker, but how is he with promos? Ever since WWE has gone PG the crowd seems to just be full of kids, and God knows technical ability isnt gonna be what gets him over with them

Loving this, if Punk can get over on mostly wrestling ability, hopefully he can.

To add to that story
As noted just moments ago here on the website, ROH sent out the following statement stating that Bryan Danielson has agreed in principle to a contract with WWE. Danielson has been one of ROH's top stars since 2002 and is considered one of the best technical wrestlers in the world. WWE had Danielson under a developmental contract years ago but eventually released him. ROH On HDNet moving to Mondays has caused WWE to look at them a bit more seriously and has apparently caused WWE to look at the contract status of several of ROH's top names. I'm told WWE is interested in four or five names.

Saw a few matches on TWC, he was badass. In WWE i hope he's asbadass as he was in ROH. If not, booo.

Loving this, if Punk can get over on mostly wrestling ability, hopefully he can. I don't think he will. Punk has natural charisma and a look that stands out. Bryan Danielson is a fantastic wrestler, but he looks like a jobber and has no real character.

This is a huge signing tbh, like the others. (punk, kofi etc) I expect him to rise through ecw. I just hope they make good use of him and get him into an intercontinental title run before main eventing PPV's (If he does headline them that is. )
