My plan is to go to Soundwave right now, nothing else planned for the time being. Would see Seether, but they were all like... "Pfft, fuck Perth. It's shit." Which it is, but I digress...

I'm not sure who I'll be seeing this year. The Edgefest 8 lineup should be announced next month hopefully. I usually luck onto finding out about bands like I did with Evans Blue.

Next month I'm going to see Rammstein here in Newcastle. Then in June I'll be travelling a few miles down the road to Sunderland (boo) to see the legendary Bruce Springsteen (yay.)

I'm just a little girl and still haven't been to any. That is worst than being a virgin. I lost my concert virginity at the ripe old age of 2... fuck yeah Wiggles.

Diablo, Seether ARE playing Perth, but you're too young to go anyways

I just noticed you mentioned Wednesday 13. I had no idea they were even still together, lol. I hadn't heard any of their stuff since 2006.

So far, the only band I know of coming anywhere near me that I'd be interested in seeing is Red Hot Chili Peppers in October

I just found out that Shinedown are playing in my town next month (Facebook updates are useful sometimes.) So I'm definitely buying a ticket tomorrow.

Jealous, I've still yet to have seen Shinedown. They only played one show near me and it was a last-minute add on in a place that only holds a few hundred people, and I wasn't old enough to go. I can't say I've ever heard Wednesday 13. My brother paid for my ticket to that show so he wasn't going alone haha.

Got my ticket for Shinedown. Absolute bargain at £14 considering I spent £45 on the Rammstein one. On Shinedown's Facebook page they're advertising meet and greets with the band but I'm not paying £50 for that, as cool as it would be.

Stay around after the show for a bit, I hear they tend to stay back and meet fans outside the places they play.

Saw Shinedown tonight and they're everything you'd hope them to be. Sound amazing live and I'm still suffering a little bit of hearing loss. The support acts were Liberty Lies and Halestorm. Having not heard of either before I was more than satisfied after hearing them. Both bands had a brilliant sound and Halestorm rocked the house down. Lzzy Hale has one of the most impressive vocals I've ever heard from a female, particularly during a solo song (dunno what it was called) where she showcased her range. Liberty Lies had already started when I got in (just 10 minutes after doors were opened) but I caught about 4 songs. Halestorm played 6/7. Anyway, Shinedown focused mainly on songs from Sound Of Madness as he said something like "most of you will have heard that album but maybe not our first two, which is fine" as well as some new stuff. I liked how Brent introduced each song with the meaning behind it. Setlist was (might not remember the exact order): 1. Sound Of Madness 2. Enemies 2. Devour 3. If You Only Knew 4. Adrenaline 5. The Crow and The Butterfly 6. Cyanide Sweet Tooth Suicide 7. Diamond Eyes 8. 45 9. Save Me 10. Bully 11. Simple Man 12. Second Chance 13. Fly From The Inside Didn't take many pics as I just wanted to watch and listen, so I'll just post this one.

You'd never heard of Halestorm!? What's wrong with you? They are amazing. Glad you have fun, Shinedown and RHCP are the two bands I NEED to see live. Looked like an awesome show, how were the new songs? I saw Seether live a week ago today. I know I've told people, I thought I'd show my photos with the whole band now. Setlist: 1. Fur Cue 2. Gasoline 3. Needles 4. Driven Under 5. Breakdown 6. Broken (semi-acoustic) 7. The Gift (Shaun Morgan solo) 8. Fine Again 9. Burrito 10. Country Song 11. Tonight 12. Fake It 13. Rise Above This 14. Remedy ___________________ In 13 days I am going to see Marilyn Manson (for free nonetheless). in 14 days I am going to Soundwave festival, where I'll be seeing: Slipknot, Tonight Alive, Alter Bridge, Steel Panther, Zebrahead, Lostprophets, Limp Bizkit, The Pretty Reckless and VersaEmerge. On Feb 29th I am going to Alter Bridge and Steel Panther's co-headline show, where they both get hour and a half long sets. On March 1st I am going to Lostprophets with Kids in Glass Houses and VersaEmerge as the support acts. I love Soundwave week
