I've always wanted to see Rammstein live. All of their shows look like they would be a helluva fun experience. Glad to see you had a good time, you lucky bastard.

Saw Steel Panther and Alter Bridge on Wednesday! Front row. Both bands were amazing, and I met all of Steel Panther. I got to high five Myles Kennedy too. Steel Panther had heaps of topless chicks on stage all night too. Satchel (Steel Panther's guitarist) In the mosh pit I was surrounded by Aaron Lewis from Staind, Corey Taylor from Stonesour/Slipknot, Jinxx from Black Veil Brides, Matt Heafy from Trivium, Electric Dynamite, Vinnie Paul from Pantera/Hellyeah and Chad Gray from Mudvayne/Hellyeah! Got to high five all of them and talk to them, and generally hang out and rock out with all of them for a few hours! Michael Starr (Steel Panther's singer) Mark Tremonti and Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge) Then last night I saw Lostprophets with VersaEmerge and Kids in Glass Houses. KIGH made me sing part of a song with them, Sierra from VersaEmerge is hot in person and Lostprophets kicked ass. Highfived most of the band, the bassist posed for a photo on stage for me, the guitarist threw a pick I caught. The coolest bit was the singer of Lostprophets throwing a water bottle to me, which I dropped. He yelled "Fumble!" and pointed at me and said "this shows why we are a better cricket team!". Amazing night. Ian Watkins (Lostprophets' singer) Stu from Lostprophets posing for my photo.

Holy shit that Rammstein gig looks intense! Getting Steel Panther tickets when they come on sale later this week, too.
Just got back from a Black Stone Cherry gig, twas pretty damn awesome, he has such a powerful voice. Although it seems that every damn time I go to a gig I get stuck behind some guy who's much taller than me. It's strange because I'm taller than most at 6'2, but every gig I'll be behind one of the 2 or 3 guys at the venue above 6'6 or so.

Question.
Going to my first concert on the 7th to see Asking Alexandria and a few other bands. If you have general admission, can you enter the mosh pit if you want or what? I know there's a good chance that i'll walk out with black eyes and a busted nose, but I kinda wanna risk it haha.

General admission IS mosh pit. You wont get a seat. Mosh pits are fine, just drink lots of water before it and be aware of crowd surfers, because they are what will fuck you up. People moshing is usually fine, but flying feet suck.
Best place to be is to the sides of the stage (in front of where guitarists/bassists play). It's a lot more calm than straight out in front of the singer.

If youre keen on getting front row, expect to wait out in line for 2-3 hours. You might get lucky and meet the band when they show up for soundcheck, or after the show if you stick around.

All the bands were amazing. Trivium played Ride the Lightning by Metallica, and everyone cheered for an encore after Asking Alexandria. I'm sore as fuck and can barely hear but it was worth it. I had a fucking great time.
