Well, unfortunately one of my twin baby brothers felt the need to pull my laptop off my desk, which has severed the screen nearly off of the keyboard/motherboard/everything segment.
This means I will be out of action for a few weeks, maybe even a month or two but I will definitely be back in time for MicroMania and will endeavor to defend my title in the meantime. The difficulty with this is that I need to set up my laptop with my TV, and as my TV wasn't meant to be a monitor, colours contrast and the resolution is weird, hence making microing a challenge. I will be retrieving all competition micros tomorrow, that thankfully are complete, and handing them into the respective people to hand them into, of course, during the course of tomorrow, which as it is past midnight, is now today.
I will continue posting actively on my iPod Touch, so I won't be gone, and I shouldn't miss too much as I intend on either buying a netbook for Uni or getting an actual monitor for the laptop.
Just figured I'd give you all warning, in case this does at all impact on anything title defense wise, but I will try to work with what I have.

I have my TV screen running in high-res, pixels are now pixels and not all blurry, but I'm honestly afraid to make micros on it simply because of colour difference. I will have to figure out my settings to get things on track, but I would rather take a bit of a break than have micros looking over saturated or whatever.

Yeah my old monitor had a different color and it fucked up shading. Looked fine on that monitor, then i'd check here on a different one and it'd look shit.

Yeah, and without the laptop screen as a guide, I can't get the television to the same settings as it was on my laptop screen.
There's also the issue with size; micros look oversized now, despite my screen being on the highest resolution now (thankfully that's sorted), so my sense of scale has been thrown off.

Yeah i suggest NOT to do it on the screen, i made a few micros where i did it on a much bigger and older screen and i look back at the micros and how bad they look colour wise. Can you make the TV Picture smaller?

Damn that sucks about your laptop. Hopefully it doesn't cost much to repair
