Just had a fantastic Gauntlet match. I was Drew McIntyre going against Too Cool. Scotty and I went back and forth for a bit, and I eventually went to put him through the announce table, but he reversed and put me through it. But I ended up coming back and eliminated him after two Future Shocks. Grandmaster Sexay came in next, it was a one sided beatdown for a few minutes. Finally he started to turn things around and got in some offense. He managed to hurt Drew enough to make him hold his stomach and move slower, but I hit him with the Future Shock and eliminated him. Rikishi was the last man to enter and holy shit, it was crazy. He hit a lot of big moves, and we reversed each others moves a lot. I had to go for some heavy hitting moves if I wanted any chance of winning. I superplexed him, suplexed him from the apron to the floor, even tried laying the ref out to use a chair. (Which didn't work) He threw me into the ring post and busted me open, which led to him getting his signature. I fought back long enough so he couldn't hit it, but he did get his finisher, and did the Rikishi Driver. I was on the edge of my seat and kicked out at the last second. We went at it again until I got my finisher. I went for the Future Shock but he reversed it, and once again planted me with the Rikishi Driver. I knew that was it, but attempted the kickout anyways, and actually escaped. I did everything that I could to get a Signature. I finally hit it at the bottom of the ramp. I started dragging him toward the ring and the ref was already at 4. So I said fuck it, and speared him through the barricade. I made it back inside at about 8 or 9, taunted, and won by count out after nearly 40 minutes.
Just had an awesome moment in universe. I've had Orton as a tweener on smackdown for a few weeks, he's also the reigning World Champ. After an awesome match between Edge and Bryan, Edge was celebrating the win and then Orton came in and shook hands with Edge but then gave him a nasty clothesline and stood tall as smackdown ended. Jus a really cool, full heel turn moment.
