So I just read that he has accepted to be the new Batman in the Batman/Superman crossover film.
Not sure how I feel about this. I thought Bale was fantastic, and Affleck already destroyed Daredevil, lol.

I think Affleck gets a bad rap for a string of shitty movies in the early 2000's, Daredevil included, but he's a solid actor (and great director). Didn't care all that much for Bale's Batman so I look forward to this next take on the character

I do like Affleck, but I've never thought of him as Batman. But him being friends with Kevin Smith and being a big comic book guy, hopefully he can pull it off. I probably shouldn't blame Daredevil on him, since he had nothing to do with it other than being an actor.

Yeah I don't like Affleck and I think this is a bad choice. But I don't like Superman and Batman is not my favourite so I might not even watch it.

Bruce Wayne is the eccentric millionaire and that's exactly what Ben Affleck can play.
Need I remind everyone in 2007 that Heath Ledger was seen as the "Franchise killer" for The Dark Knight. It's gonna be fine. Though I'm not looking forward to it. It's not gonna SUCK but it's not gonna be great.

How did Affleck destroy Daredevil? The script was shit, the film was cut ridiculously (making it make less sense) and the supporting cast wasting great either. It wasn't his fault.
I love the casting. Having said that, Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor is where it's at!
