Finished season 2 of Daredevil. So good. Jon Bernthal deserves an award for the cemetery and rooftop scenes.

Batman V Superman. I thought it was better than Man of Steel, which I hated, but still suffered from a lot of the same problems. There is literally no joy in this Superman. Everything is miserable with him. It's really a drag to watch. There's not much of a contrast between him and Batman, who was the best part of the movie. I did find it weird that they went with a killer Batman but everything else with him was spot on. Wonder Woman was fun as well, but the movie would have been better paced and focused if they just stuck with Superman and Batman and trimmed a lot of the subplots, and Lex.... a hell of a lot less Lex. I haven't been so annoyed by a performance in a long time. To me he was the absolute worst part of the movie. And I've liked Eisenberg in almost everything else.
Overall it was alright but just not up to par with the standard of superhero movies we are getting these days. I hope they ditch Snyder for future films. He's great visually but a bad storyteller. The DCCU is really gonna have to dig itself out of a hole with Suicide Squad.

Haven't seen the movie yet; but I gotta say ever since Eisenberg got announced as Luthor, the little excitement I had was derailed. I love the guy, but he should not be Lex Luthor. Plan to see the movie tomorow or the next day.

Batman vs Superman - 7/10. Some great scenes, some really shitty ones. The Dictator - 7/10. Quite funny. Lost in Translation - 7.5/10. Cool movie set in the places in Tokyo i'll be going to next month.
Also finished the new James Franco event series 11.22.63. Really really good, highly recommend it. Only 8 episodes, so it's an easy watch.

I got a bit of hope when that first bald pic of him, looking intense was released.... but then the trailer dropped and he's acting like a spastic Jim Carrey, and my excitement sank.
