Here is where I will be posting my (short) blogs.
Hello, this is edition one of a series of blogs by myself, discussing anything and everything. Anywho, f**k the introductions, let's begin.
Film: 2011 is the Year of the Sequel. But not that that's a bad thing... yet. We have a sequel for a sequel (yeah, I'm talking to you Harry Potter), plus we have anticipated ones like Transformers, The Hangover etc. Quite a few movies I'm excited for this year, to be honest.
Television: Chuck and How I Met Your Mother seem to be at the top of my viewing list lately, watching the episodes up to where the Americans are. The most talk-about thing with Chuck this week is Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and that outfit. Gone is the curly blond hair and sundresses, in with the straight black hair and the skin tight black clothing. Damn. And next week is sure to be a big episode, with the "final confrontation" between Chuck/Sarah and Volkoff. Plus, the aftermath of Casey being put in a coma.
Music: Pretty much, my airwaves right now are filled with the likes of Stone Sour, My Chemical Romance, Foo Fighters and what-have-you. Speaking of Foo Fighters, the new album being released later this year is sure to be a hit, and from the 30 second preview for the opening track on the record, it's going to be one HELL of a hit.
Gaming: The Next-Gen Portable (PSP2) has been unveiled this week, and as totally awesome as it looks, I have my doubts. The graphics are amazing (instead of a dumbed down PS2 style, they are the equivalent of 360/PS3) and such, and the look is totally banging, but it seems clustered. I'm all up for the cameras and 3G wireless, but as well as having your normal Playstation controller config, we now also have a touch screen and a track pad on the back. Let's just hope the game library totally owns and they don't screw up the configurations of the controls.
Myself: Well, the summer holidays are drawing to a close, and for some reason, I feel as if they have been kind of wasted. On the other hand, they have been pretty damn awesome for what I've made of them. Also, you know what feeling when you feel relieved because you dodged that bullet? That's the feeling I have right now, because I get the feeling that bullet would have hit me had have I not seen the bigger picture. Of course, it is dissapointing, but it's a small hurdle towards the bigger picture.
Anywho, that was my first entry of Extremely Abstract Nonsense.
Kthxciao, D.
