So following the pretty damn good John Cena vs Dolph Ziggler match on RAW last night, CM Punk attacked John Cena from behind with a steel chair before leaving the arena. Here is what he had to say,
is anyone else excited for this feud? I'm really hoping they don't just have Punk get squashed, but this has potential to be great. Cena has shown he can be great in the ring with the right opponent, and Punk is super talented.

If Punk gets squashed, we riot.
Oh well, sadly, we will probably have to riot... NO ONE CAN BEAT SUPERCENA!

I'd say this is gonna be an awesome feud. Wish no one between them gets squashed, though. 'Cause I'm pretty sure Cena dominated during their last match.

It's a good way for punk to start Main-Eventing again, too. Seems like a good idea for a fued, something fresh

I really hope this goes somewhere good. Punk right now is one of the most charismatic stars, and he's really good in the ring. He has the potential to really soar in the WWE if they give him the tools to do so. Putting him in a fued with Cena that is already on a jumpstart could really end up well. I dare say, THIS could be the Triple H-Austin of this era. (Since they made Orton-Cena the Rock-Austin by force...)

So Punk laid out Cena at the end of smackdown with a chair, I like where this is headed. I can only imagine the promo's between the two, and the matches have potential to be awesome.

Yeah, like Cena or not (I think AC and I are the only ones that do) he is amazing on the microphone and he CAN go when the pressure is on for him to perform well. I cant wait for the promos.

TBH, I'm not Cena's biggest fan. In fact, he is one of the reasons I stopped watching wrestling. But that's entirely to do with his mic work, which I always thought sucked hard, as the end of every one of his segments would end in him shouting some crap about how he will never give up and stuff, and veins exploding all over his face, it was just painful to watch. The few gimples o his fueds I have gotten recently, against people I like, (last year with Miz, and shorter fueds with Sheamus and Jericho) seemed to go well. I actually like cenas in ring skills, as he lets out a lot of emotion in the ring. A lot of the time, it gets predictable, (Summer slam vs nexus) but in 1 on 1 matches, I do like him. So, facing one of the best around in the ring, Punk, I can see this being a pretty good fued.

Its the writers fault for making him one-dimensional. Cena is one of the best on the mic, and one of the most charismatic in the company, theres not really any way to deny that.

Yeah I think people forget that the writers pretty much write everything he says, with maybe the exception of the stuff he goes with off the top of his head. Such as the old battle raps he did, and when he was allowed to have more freedom to be himself on the mic back on smackdown.

You could just look at his emotional speech when he got "fired", 'cause that speech really seemed like something that he made himself and you could see how much emotion he put into it.
