ContextPretty much everything up to the present time (May 2011) is the same. However, since then, we have had a few big changes. CM Punk is still reigning Mr. Money in the Bank after winning at the Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View. John Cena won the WWE Championship at TLC, defeating the now-heel Triple H. Wade Barrett has been the Intercontinental Champion since Summerslam, and has been feuding with Daniel Bryan since December of 2011. Speaking of Daniel Bryan, he and William Regal have been allies since Night of Champions, where they won the WWE World Tag Team Championships. Since then, the re-formed team of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase have beaten Regal/Bryan and become Tag Champions. CM Punk has become a tweener. Kane and Triple H have turned heel and Zack Ryder's online success has catapulted him to a major face in the company, playing a more serious role now, however keeping his Guido gimmick. Chris Jericho also made his return to the company in late 2011, stopping Triple H beating down Christian. The Rock is still a face and "feuding" with John Cena, as their match for WrestleMania 28 is still scheduled.

January - Week One"Life Starts Now" blasts through the arena as we get underway for the debut episode of WWE Voltage. Matt Striker and Jim Ross check in on commentary as The Rock’s theme echoes throughout the rafters, and out comes the People’s General Manager! The Rock does his usual “Finally...” spot before calling out the current WWE champion, John Cena. Cena makes his way down to the ring holding the championship by his side and the crowd is on their feet. The Rock gestures Cena to hand him the belt, and Cena complies. The lights then turn out, as spotlights aim at an item slowly transcending down from the rafters... it’s the classic “Undisputed” WWE Championship belt! The Rock says he has had enough of the candyass toy that the current belt is, and wants to bring some prestige back to the belt. He hands the belt to Cena, who then talks about their scheduled WrestleMania match. Just as The Rock puts his hand out for a handshake, Cena takes the belt and nails The Rock square in the skull, before kicking him in the ribs and taunting him. The crowd shows their displeasure as Cena taunts the crowd before heading off, holding the “new” championship belt. Match One – Intercontinental Championship Wade Barrett (c.) vs. Daniel Bryan (w/William Regal)Daniel Bryan opens up with a strong offense on the reigning Intercontinental Champion with a flurry of kicks and punches. However, Barrett soon turns the tables though with a big boot to the face of Bryan. He then turns his sights on Regal who is standing at ringside, before Bryan turns Barrett around and nails him with a roundhouse kick, however it is only good for a two count. As Barrett is down, Regal slides the Intercontinental Champion some brass knuckles, turning on Bryan! Barrett nails Bryan with a strong punch and scores the 1,2,3 to retain the championship. Regal then enters the ring and nails Daniel Bryan with the Knee Trembler, before going to celebrate with Wade Barrett. Barrett then picks up the near-lifeless Bryan, puts him on his shoulders and hits him with Wasteland. Barrett and Regal leave the ring as EMTs go to check up on Bryan. Match Two “Dashing” Cody Rhodes and “Priceless” Ted DiBiase vs. Kofi Kingston and Evan BourneRhodes and Bourne start off and Bourne is on the attack early firing away some Hurricanranas. Rhodes is quick to tag in DiBiase, who downs Bourne with an effective clothesline. After Bourne is able to tag in Kingston, the tables turn as Kingston hits some effective strikes on DiBiase. Rhodes however tags himself in without Kingston noticing, and then blindsights Kofi with Cross-Rhodes, which allows Rhodes to pick up the pinfall victory. Bourne questions the referee in frustration, before checking up on his partner, as Rhodes and DiBiase head to the back celebrating. Scott Stanford is in the back with John Cena, who was holding his new championship belt. Cena says that despite telling the fans for years to “Never Give Up”, they gave up on him for a Hollywood hotshot who turned his back on everyone for years. He said it was time he gave up on those who have given up on him. Mr. Money in the Bank himself, CM Punk then approached Cena, stating that he had given up in Cena a long time ago, because in the end his facade would catch up to him. Punk then advised Cena on turning against the WWE Universe, but before Punk could continue, Cena knocked him to the floor with a right hook. Cena challenged Punk to a match tonight, and told him he will regret questioning him.Match Three Zack Ryder vs. KaneKane started the match off strong, as Ryder was completely overpowered by the offence of the Big Red Monster. After a few near falls, Ryder bounced back with a quick counter attack, but Kane ended that quickly with a powerful Sidewalk Slam. Just as Kane signalled for the chokeslam, the arena went black and a loud, impactful gong echoed throughout the arena. The lights came back on, but Ryder took advantage of the distraction, turned Kane around and hit him with the Rough Ryder! One, two, three and Ryder wins. Ryder quickly left the ring and celebrated on the ramp, as Kane slowly got up in the ring. As Kane got up, he stood silently, as if in shock, he knew his brother was returning, and returning soon...
Backstage in the locker-room, Chris Jericho was seen wearing a casual suit, watching the monitor. Christian came up and they exchanged greetings. They discussed the upcoming match between John Cena and CM Punk, as well as both having their debut Voltage matches next week. CM Punk then came up, still showing signs of his attack from Cena before. There were no words spoken, but the gaze between the three men said it all...Match Four – Main Event John Cena vs. CM PunkBefore the match started, The Rock’s music hit and he walked on to the stage. He announced the match was now an Extreme Rules match! CM Punk got in the first attack, using some combination attacks on Cena. Cena retaliated with a massive shoulder strike, which downed Punk. Cena left the ring and threw in an assortment of weapons, before finding some Singapore Canes. As Cena re-entered the ring, Punk picked up a chair and started beating the WWE Champion across the back and shoulder. He went to the top rope and as Cena got up, he hit a diving spinning kick across Cena’s temple and the Champ was down, but it was only good for a two-count. As the match went on, the two men beat other near to death with the various weapons, until Cena managed to lock in the STF-U on CM Punk. However, Punk was able to reach for a steel chair and smack Cena across the head with it. Cena loosened the grip, which allowed Punk to get out of the move and turn the tables on Cena with a GTS! Cena was down and CM Punk scored the pinfall to win the match. As CM Punk celebrated his victory, Cena grabbed his title belt and nailed Punk across the back of the head, downing Punk. He then went to attack the downed Straight Edge Superstar before “Break the Walls Down” bellowed through the arena and Chris Jericho ran to the aid of CM Punk, fending off Cena. However, The Game’s theme hit and Triple H came running in with a sledgehammer, and smacked Jericho in the temple with the head of the hammer. It was madness as Triple H and Cena went on the attack of the downed Punk and Jericho, before Christian came out with a steel chair and started swinging at Cena and Triple H, fending them off Punk and Jericho. The two men got back to their feet, and now Cena and The Game were outnumbered, however they were quick to get out the ring. Punk, Jericho and Christian stood tall to close the show.

Not a bad starting segment. The Rock bringing in the old belt isn't too bad and can actually do give more prestige to the belt. Cena hitting him after was kinda weird, is he heel in your diary? If so, then I really think you should've elaborated on how he turned heel. If not and this is actually the heel turn, then I feel like you could've made his heel turn bigger than this. Just my thoughts. First match was good. Loved that you didn't really look any of the two weak and Regal turning on Bryan is a good move. Regal and Barrett is honestly a good pairing. Tag match wasn't bad, would've liked Bourne and Kingston to win but either team winning was good in my books. Good interview and I liked Punk getting involved. Great way to set up a match tonight. Next match was decent, I like that Ryder won and wasn't COMPLETELY cleanly so it's believable. Main event was great and Punk winning is good. Really confused with the superstar's dispositions though. Cena and HHH are heels and Punk and Jericho are faces? Sounds REALLY weird to me. But overall, decent first show.

More will be elaborated over the next few weeks - Triple H is a heel (as explained in my Context entry) - Ryder is actually a legitamate competitor in my diary, he has become more serious (once again, as explained in the Context entry) - Punk was a tweener, but is now a face - Jericho is a face (as explained in the Context entry) - I have a bigger story coming up for the tag team division that will play out over a few months, which is why Kofi/Bourne didn't win.

Would've suggested not turning him heel until a big event but hey, I can't really judge until I see how this turns out. So yeah, those were just my two cents in.

January - Week TwoThe usual pyro hits, and we are underway tonight on WWE Voltage! The Rock makes his entrance in a casual suit, saluting the crowd in the usual fashion. Tonight, there is no “Finally...” as The GM discusses Cena attacking him last week with the title belt. “Last week, I gave him prestige... and he gave me and all of you his worst.” However, The Rock was quick to move on and announce the night’s main event... a number one contenders Elimination Fatal Four Way match. It would be Triple H, CM Punk, Chris Jericho and Christian, and the match was to be No Disqualifications, and the winner would decide the stipulation of the match. As The Rock made his way to the ropes, Cena ran in through the crowd, ran in the ring and blindsighted The Rock, hitting him across the back of the head with his title belt, which laid out the General Manager. Cena just stood there, holding his title belt in the air, as the Rock remained down on the mat. Match One Zack Ryder vs. William RegalThe two men battled equally, blow-for-blow to open up this match, before Regal found himself at an advantage having taken Ryder down with a fierce clothesline. Ryder was quick to equalize the match however, landing a big kick on Regal’s temple. Ryder went for a swinging DDT, but was countered with a suplex from Regal. As Regal went to lock in the Regal stretch, Ryder managed to reverse it into a roll-up pin, but it was only good for a two count. Both men got up, however Regal pushed Ryder into the referee, who was knocked out of the ring! Regal revealed his brass knuckles and landed a blow on Ryder right in the temple, however there was no referee to count a pinfall. Then Wade Barrett made his way to the ring holding a steel chair, which he drove into the back of Ryder’s skull. He then lifted up the unconscious Ryder, placed him on his shoulders and threw him onto the chair spine first with Wasteland. Barrett quickly left the ring and stood by ringside as the referee regained composure, and Regal capitalised on the downed Ryder, scoring the pinfall. Post match, Regal and Barrett continued the beating on Zack Ryder, kicking him the head and ribs repeatedly until Daniel Bryan ran out and made the save, hitting both Barrett and Regal off Ryder. Bryan threw Barrett out of the ring, and then proceeded to attack Regal, however Regal was able to escape the ring just in time. Daniel Bryan tended to the still-downed Ryder, as Regal and Barrett made their way back up the ramp, smirking from the satisfaction of their actions.Triple H is seen backstage preparing for the main event match. John Cena walks in carrying his championship belt. Triple H says that tonight, he will not just defeat, but paralyse his opponents before moving on to beating Cena at the Royal Rumble and walking out champion. Before Cena can reply, someone can be heard shouting for a trainer... it’s Chris Jericho, and Christian is writhing in pain on the floor, clutching his knee. Jericho tends to Christian before the trainers arrive, it would seem that Christian could be out of tonight’s main event.Match Two Cody Rhodes (w/Ted DiBiase) vs. Kofi Kingston (w/Evan Bourne)Rhodes starts off by putting Kofi in an armlock, however Kofi is quick to reverse out and takes down Cody with a side headlock. Kofi sends Rhodes into the corner and goes for a running knee strike, but Rhodes counters and flips Kofi over the turnbuckle and the Ghanaian superstar crashes to the outside. Rhodes distracts the referee as DiBiase attacks the downed Kofi at ringside, before Bourne hits a diving crossbody on DiBiase, which allows Kofi to get to his feet, however Rhodes climbs the turnbuckle and hits a massive moonsault on Kingston, which leaves both men down outside the ring. Eventually, they make their way back into the ring, and Kofi goes for Trouble in Paradise, but Rhodes ducks it and reverses it into Cross Rhodes, which allows Rhodes to pick up the win.. DiBiase entered the ring and celebrated with Rhodes, as they held their Tag Team gold high above their heads, taunting Kofi and Bourne with them. Bourne grabbed a microphone and challenged Rhodes and DiBiase to a Tag Team Championship match at the Royal Rumble. Rhodes and DiBiase laughed, before accepting the match and walking off.Match Three Daniel Bryan vs. KaneBryan dropped Kane to his knees with a running kick to the side, and then started kicking the sides of Kane’s head, however he only scored a two count. Bryan went up to the top rope, however on the way down he was met by Kane’s hand clutching his throat. Kane lifted up Bryan for a chokeslam, however the lights turned out and a gong echoed throughout the arena and as the lights came back, cloaked druids lined the entrance ramp. Three more gongs sounded and darkness struck the arena once more, and as the lights returned, the druids were gone. Kane stood in shock before Bryan capitalised and downed Kane with a swinging DDT, before locking Cattle Mutilation, forcing Kane to submit. Bryan left the ring quickly and celebrated on the entrance ramp, however he was ambushed by Wade Barrett, as William Regal watched by Barrett’s side. Barrett landed some hard blows on Bryan before throwing him back in the ring to Kane, who then lifted up Bryan and chokeslammed him all the way back down outside the ring, where he landed right at Barrett’s feet. Barrett and Regal walked off backstage.
Scott Stanford caught up with Drew McIntyre backstage. Stanford asked McIntyre how he plans on making his impact on Voltage, however Drew cut him short and simply stated “My impact has already begun...” before walking off.Match Four – Main Event Number One Contender match for the WWE Championship Triple H vs. CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho vs. TBABefore the match begun, the Rock interrupted and stated he had found a replacement for Christian in the match... as Drew McIntyre made his way to the ring. The four men stared each other down and the bell rang to signal the start of the match. Drew McIntyre went to attack CM Punk to begin, however McIntyre was quickly blindsighted with a Codebreaker from Jericho, before walking groggily into CM Punk who nailed McIntyre with the GTS and scored the pinfall, eliminating Drew McIntyre. Triple H had re-entered the ring, now with a sledgehammer and attacked both Jericho and CM Punk in the abdomen. However, neither Punk nor Y2J would give The Game a three-count. As the match progressed, the three men shared momentum, until Chris Jericho was hit with a running knee to the temple by CM Punk, and then hit with a Pedigree by Triple H, who pinned Jericho and eliminated him. It was down to CM Punk and Triple H, as they made their way to the outside and brawled. Triple H got CM Punk on top of one of the announce tables and went for a Pedigree, however CM Punk reversed it and GTS’ed Triple H onto the floor! Punk then threw The Game back into the ring and went for a cover, but Triple H willed out before the ref could count to three. Triple H was still down, as CM Punk quickly regained his composure, before John Cena stood at the entrance ramp, staring down Punk. Triple H reached for a Sledgehammer whilst Punk was distracted and went to strike Punk with it, however Punk turned just at the right second, ducked it and turned Triple H around into the Go To Sleep once more and nailed it, which allowed CM Punk to score the 1...2...3, and go on to the Royal Rumble to face John Cena. CM Punk celebrated his victory, before realising that Cena was still standing on the entrance ramp. The two taunted each other before CM Punk grabbed a microphone. “Hey John, our match at the Royal Rumble won’t just be any match... it will be a match where you feel the wrath of the Anaconda Vice... it will be a Submission match!” The two men stared each other down to close the show.

Again, good opening segment. The Rock coming out and speaking out is good and awesome main event set up. Cena blind sighting him is another good move. Though I think you should get The Rock some revenge in the next shows. Good first match and awesome that Regal won though I'm a big fan of Ryder. Bryan coming out for the save, a possible tag team? Hell yeah! Backstage segment is pretty good as well. Christian getting attacked backstage is good and I can't think of who did this. Batista, probably? Would've liked Christian on the main event but a surprise replacement wouldn't be too bad. Good second match but again would've liked Kofi to win so there would be proper grounds on them challenging DiBiase and Rhodes. Nice third match and Daniel Bryan winning is well, #WINNING. Good hint at Undertaker returning, hopefully it's gonna be a big return. Good move on having Barrett beat up Bryan as a revenge for what happened earlier. Can't wait for the feud between these four men. McIntyre interview wasn't bad. I dislike McIntyre though and think he's one of the stalest superstars ever. Hopefully though, you give him an interesting character. With what he said, I guess it was him who beat up Christian. If so, then meh, I'd rather have Christian. Main event is pretty good. I love that McIntyre got eliminated quickly. XD Jericho being eliminated next. Would've liked Punk and Jericho as the last two but Trips isn't bad. Love that Punk won, though and definitely a solid match. A submission match is pretty good as they both have submission moves to finish it so it's unpredictable. Overall, good show. And I actually disagree with Kyle, I like more detailed matches, might be a bore for some but I think it's more interesting to read.
