www.wwe.com/inside/chavo-guerrero-releasedThey haven't used him right in years, but still, he was one of WWE's top talents and one of the most entertaining in-ring performers. A big loss for WWE, in my opinion.

Definitely wouldn't call him a 'top talent'. They gave him some time to feud with Sin Cara and got pretty much no reaction. He's a shell of his former self in the ring, I noticed a lot of botched stuff in his recent matches with Cara, DB, etc.

Hey Vince.
What is "a cruiserweight division." Honestly, maybe if they re-built the proper Cruiserweight division, rather than jobbing the Cruiserweights, talents would be utilised better, and it is this lack of such a division which has caused Chavo to be cut, sadly.

WWE doesn't give a shit about the lower weight guys. Unless it's Sin Cara or Rey Mysterio...and Sin Cara hasn't impressed me at all with his WWE run so far. Everyone is praising him for being "innovative" but yet I saw Paul Burchill doing the top rope C4 long before I had ever even heard of Sin Cara. Plus he isn't doing anything I didn't see the likes of Rey, Juvi, Psicosis, etc... do in WCW.

Sin Cara is hardly innovative, everything he does has been done back when WWE had a Cruiserweight division, rather than a Jobber division. Imagine the success guys like Kofi, Bourne, Bryan, Rhodes, DiBiase and Ryder could have if they introduced a division where they can prosper, rather than be buried...

Well at least he asked for his release. I always hoped that they could do more with Chavo after his crappy run with the ECW title but instead he spent half of the next year jobbing to Hornswoggle.

Heard of this yesterday. Kinda shocked. He's one of those guys who I expected them to at least give a backstage job instead of a release(like Goldust, Regal, etc.)

I like Cara, but he's struggling to adapt as of now, and I hate the lighting in his matches. Chavo was boring and useless without a cruiserweight division.

The point he is trying to make is that Cara isn't innovative, considering all of his moves are essentially base Luchador moves, it's just he has kept this style whilst people like Mysterio and Del Rio were able to adapt to the North American style. Burchill, however, is innovative for introducing the move to Western wrestling fans.

I'm purely saying that just because you saw Paul Burchill do a move first on national TV, doesn't mean he created the move. Frankie Kazarian did it long before Burchill did, calling it the Flux Capacitor, which proves what I'm saying entirely.

Sounds like he'll be off to TNA. I haven't watched it in a while but I probably will watch it a bit more if he turns up there and gets a good programme. I always enjoyed Chavo's matches live whenever WWE came to town and he's more over with the fans and kids than you might expect.
