Regardless if you like team comptetitions or not, you can at least accept that it's point is to help our newer members improve and take 1 minute of your time to vote and actually help, rather than hours arguing. For some people, this was a fun way to learn and improve, and they have every reason to be frustrated with what hapenned here.
ok right most of what I wrote was when I was sleep deprived so I'll explain a bit better; I saw this a day before going away to attend to a family tragedy I decided I'd vote when I got back despite not liking the idea of this at all. Now obviously I'm going to be in a bad mood because of a family tagedy so when I came back and got to reading this I was more pissed off than normal to read the complaining of lack of votes and being listed as someone who should've voted, so I decided not to vote, childish I know, but I haven't been in a good mood all week. What I tried to get across is that whilst I'm all for helping people, previous shows such as MXT didn't go down too well and that I wasn't particularly drawn to this because of the frankenstein micros anyway so it doesn't surprise me that people didn't vote especially because most people who were interested in this couldn't vote. IMO it's pointless to add a forced competitive nature by having these shows which is why I don't like them and I felt this was kind of a pointless thing to do for the first show as I failed to see the teamwork aspect of it, also it's quite a taxing show to run and with there being a main show too it almost doesn't seem worth it. Now my personal opinion is just that and it really doesn't matter but I decided to post these reasons afer the reaction to lack of voting, under normal cirucmstances I would've voted and if there's a second show I'll vote just because I'm not always a complete dick and am willing to help others out despite no interest at all, most of what I wrote was just an overreaction to the complaints and Hurricane's reaction to my post as I felt I wasn't being too dickish in my initial post but reading it back I realise I was. With all that being said I think frankensteins have been way over done now and should be given a break Also I think this competition would be awesome for a RAG.
Family tragedy is completely understandable. Don't think I named you out of spite, though. I simple named everyone I could think of that was active. I also completely understand what you say about Frankensteins.
They aren't going to help anyone in the long run, thats for sure, but I was looking for a simple easy way to ease into the teams and the competition. I didnt want to say "hey, look, its our first contest, make a good resemblence of this guy and also draw him posed with a sword".
