Red Ranger Tommy or T.J., whatever your preference, from Power Rangers Turbo. I intend to make the entire Turbo team and POSSIBLY, other teams in the future. EDIT: I tried to fix the shading, I think it looks a hell of a lot better but I also think more work can be done, I'm just not positive on...how I guess. Putting it side to side with the old one, I can see how it was blurry. Such a difference in my opinion.

The only thing that I can say about it is that it looks quite blurry. It's really distracting me from the rest of the micro.

That's always been one of my problems, and I've never been able to deduce why my micros come out blurry. Thank you though

Take all the shading off from the outside of the outline, as it just makes it blurry. Aside from that, I hate the shading, sorry. It seems as if you just follow the outline and don't really do anything to make it look realistic, nor 3D. Check out micros by Alex, see that he doesn't just follow outlines, but gives every shade it's own character. I suggest finding a good template and trying to make your shading style similar to it for awhile, until you really get it under your belt. Shaping isn't bad, though.

Thanks guys.
I really need to work on shading, I know. This time, I just erased the entire inside of the outline and started from scratch, but I'm so used to that template's shading it just naturally became similar I guess. I'm gonna take your advise for sure, 'cane. I'm gonna work on this power ranger further and try to progress the shading til it's better.

You use photoshop for parts of these, correct? I'm trying to edit it and theres way too many shades. Try using just 4. The base and three darker. Make sure they are different enough so it doesn't look blurry, because on this there are lots of shades close to each other. I like what you done with the pants, because that's what I meant, but it doesn't look amazing. Still, it's an improvement and you will get better at it with more tries. Shaping is odd in some areas, too. Like the top of the gloves. They should curve up towards the outside, rather that down. The shading on the yellow/white is also still very blurry. I do like the head. It's also a bit less blurry without the outside shading, which is good. Theres an edit. Not perfect, but I tried to show you how to shade it without it being blurry and whatnot.

Ah you're such a big help man, thank you. I used photoshop slightly on the helmet, just one 77% burn on the left side, but I used the dropper in Paint and kept taking shades from that, so that probably screwed it up.

Thank you tons dude. I'm gonna try doing a similar approach to mine without completely imitating it, then making another power ranger and see if I can apply it.
