April 5, 2010 Fireworks erupt on the stage as Attitude officially starts. The camera goes around the arena and finally focuses on the broadcast team. [/center]
Michael Cole: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen and welcome to Attitude!
Matt Striker: This night is sure to be great as we get to see the superstars of Attitude beat the hell out of each other as each of them hopes to get shot at the titles.
Michael Cole: You’re right there, partner. In fact, qualifying matches were already set up for tonight to determine who will participate in the title matches next week.
Matt Striker: I’m already pumped up. Batista’s in the ring right now, let’s see what he has to say.
The camera suddenly shifts to Batista who is sitting in the middle of the ring as the crowd is silent
Batista: I’m here in the ring right now because I want to know why the hell I’m not included in the tournament to determine the Attitude World Heavyweight Champion. I am clearly the biggest star of this show and probably even of this company and to even think of not including me is ridiculous. So I demand Teddy Long to come out here right now!
Batista doesn’t move for 30 seconds as the crowd is still silent, he is about to put the mic near his mouth when the familiar music of Randy Orton plays.
Randy Orton: Batista, I got to stop you right there. Not to take anything away from you, but I think I deserve a spot in that tournament more than you do. And if I have to prove it to you right now, I’ll be happy to do it.
Batista: Really, Randy? Really?!? You? More deserving than me? That’s got to be the lamest joke I heard in a long time. If you think you’re that tough, then come down here in the ring and I’ll let you have a taste of the beating I’m going to perform on everyone who stands on my way of being champion.
Randy walks through the ramp but before he can enter the ring, Teddy Long’s music plays.
Theodore Long: Now let me stop you guys right there. If you really want to have a go on each other, then I don’t blame you, playa. So I’m gonna give you both what you want as the two of you will face off later tonight for a spot in next week’s championship match. Holla!
Teddy Long walks back from the ramp but another music plays before he could go to the back. This time, it’s Chris Jericho.
Chris Jericho: Teddy, Teddy, Teddy, this is exactly why you’re an incompetent general manager. You give these two losers a spot in that tournament yet you don’t give the guy who made this company successful for so many years a spot. Let me remind you, I’m still the best in the world at what I do.
*crowd boos* I don’t care what you gelatinous losers think! You don’t even deserve being in the same building as me, so you should even thank me for taking my time to come down here.
Theodore Long: Now, hold on right there, playa. I understand where you’re coming from, so I will give you the chance. Tonight, you’re gonna have a qualifying match for next week’s championship match. But your opponent will be kept a secret and you will find out who it is, later tonight. Holla!
Teddy goes backstage as Jericho leaves the ramp with a smirk on his face. Batista and Orton suddenly start to have a go at each other until the officials come down and hold back the two. They lead the two backstage as the camera cuts backstage where Mark Henry and MVP are shown warming up for their match.
Michael Cole: Moments ago, we just heard that Orton, Jericho, Batista and another superstar who is still kept secret will be added to the tournament match.
Matt Striker: Randy and Batista obviously still have a lot of anger with each other as they almost ripped each other’s head off.
Michael Cole: The two definitely has a lot of history together and their match is sure to be a real treat.
